Do What You Are Doing - Dexter Britain - Cover

Музыка

This was not too easy considering I had to jump because this piece was composed to be played with three hands. I only have two hands, so this is my attempt, enjoy! :)

God damn, even for me as a pianist it would be really hard to convert a three hand piece into this! It does sound like the original and it sounds way easier to play even though there have to be low tones so that makes it a bit challenging. Keep up the good work! ^^

@@cerfperle That's so much work! You're so awesome... It's been a year since we bought a piano for my room but since I don't take lessons at all I just sit by it and try to work some magic.. I usually do it whenever I feel lonely and stressed out and it really works. It's like a dear friend. Once I get through my last years of high school I'll definitely upgrade this relationship with my piano to be hopefully be as good as you.

@@a.n.y2902 Aww wow, no one's ever given me such a detailed compliment with regards to my piano skills. Thank you for that. Synthesia tutorials (which are all over KZread) are what I find easiest to learn from because you can see what notes to press before you press them and how long for. I wasn't too good at first; I started off with a plastic keyboard, but now, I play wherever I see one! I'm sure you'll do well in the future, stay determined!

@@cerfperle Thank you for the motivational talk... :") Every little piece I learned on piano comes from those tutorials right now. The progress is slow and it's stressing me out to see younger people progressing faster but I guess I'll get to it when I have the time. Thank you >.

@@a.n.y2902 You're welcome! One thing you should know is that age and time do not always have the same effect on you as it will others: I have a friend who started playing the piano a year or so after me but is better. It is often easy for young children to play an instrument because they often do not get stressed as easily. If you are stressed, take a breath, remember that practice is virtuous and mistakes are essential to help you learn, and continue. It's not a competition: some people can play by ear but not with sheet music and vice versa, some people were great from the start and others took a while. If you start with simple songs and then set a more difficult one as a goal, I'm sure that will be a useful incentive :)

Considering the fact that at the time my hands ached and I didn't know the piece very well, I'd say that it wasn't too bad. I wouldn't call my timing "late", per se, because I wasn't playing with a backing track of any kind. Do you play the piano?
