Danny and I head out to 5 Mile Woods in Bucks County to check to see if we can find anything of a former farmstead that had once existed in this area.

Prayers and well wishes for Bob.
That looked sooo cold. Your son looked fairly warm. All I could see was his handsome eyes. I really hope Bob get well soon. My prayers continue for the family. Stay strong. Hugs. 26:28

Best wishes to Bob. You made a great point about searching for history. As KZread creators, we are the documentarians, the story tellers. We tell the non-fiction story of what once was. There is a story anywhere we explore, and we need to be the storytellers for those unable to personally join us.
Really enjoyed that thanks Kathy. Love the crunch your feet make. So pleased to hear good news about Bob. Attitude is a great thing to have when you have this. My attitude was well this isn’t gonna beat me, and it didn’t. Loved the area you were at. Please take care

Positive thoughts and prayers for your father-in-law!
Oh wow, I grew up about ten minutes away from this spot. My fondest memories of this place include my first cigarette and later pot experience, haha, Haven’t been here since 1993/1994 or so. Thanks for the memories!

I think 93/94 was before the Kohl's and Shop Rite was built, too.
Could the wall with iron spikes be part of a silo? Even though the house is gone/reclaimed the barn would have had stone foundation.

You might be right, it very well could have been a silo. Would have been the right area for it.
I hate winters. I'm a summer person. So, this was all farmland turned park land? Not too much to find. I can't believe how many insulators can be found lying around all over the country. Many blessings to you and your family.

I hate the cold too. Yuppers, it was a farmland before it turned into a park :-) That insulator was found way off the trails, thinking a person had to have brought that in as there were no electrical poles nearby.
