I'm 16 and I'm planning to be an economist

Thank you so much, this was very inspiring. I am a rising sophomore studying economics and have been considering conducting my own research project but was hesitant to start. However, because I will have extra time with classes online I am finally going to start my project. I can't wait to follow this video series and your essays! It has been my dream to go to graduate school for economics and this is super motivating!

Thank you so much for publishing such incredibly helpful content. I am a junior in highschool and have been interested in economics and financial analysis since I was in fifth grade, and your videos are an excellent guide for me.

This is a great suggestion Craig 👏. In a very competitive job market for graduates, standing out from the crowd is crucial.

Wise advice. And good points. It is really all about being distinguished. Going to college or even getting a PhD are not that big matters anymore. You have to add yourself things that make you unique.

Omg I’m just entering my junior year and for about a year now I’ve been dying to get into research, all I’ve been doing is reading other undergrad research papers and tbh that hasn’t gotten me any closer to starting with any of my own research. Given that all my classes are online this sem I was determined to get writing. This series could not have come at a better time for mE, I AM SOOO DEEPLY THANKFUL !!

Depends on the program. I learned Stata as a student. But learning Stata/R will definitely make you stand out.
