I analyzed and studied Yueko's artworks in order to discover what she does to create such beautiful paintings. I did two copy studies of Yueko's artworks in order to implement the art lessons I learned, and also learned more tips along the way. The process in this video should hopefully not only teach you how to paint more like Yueko, but also how to paint better in general. Furthermore, this video should show the general process you can take to learn to paint like your favorite artists.
The brushes as promised! :

Honestly feels pretty surreal to be sponsored by Skillshare after watching so, so many KZreadrs with Skillshare sponsorships. It doesn't feel like long ago when I had 0 subs and I was doing everything I could to grow my channel. Thank you guys for all the support, it truly means a lot to me. I never would have gotten this far without each and every one of you.

I’m actually doing a study on the first artwork you showed (out of the two you said you would be studying and recreating in the video) And I’m really excited to see how yours turns out! :) Thank you so much for this video, I’m really enjoying the simplicity of your explanations so far and I’m so happy I found your channel today! I look forward to more awesome content from you, you’re such an underrated artist :) I’ve also noticed, throughout the video, that Yueko uses softer, pastel colours for the face. The way she draws attention to the faces in her art is amazing! There’s so much loose texture and flow to the surrounding areas and parts of her art - This makes her art look so detailed yet free! She uses these few components so well, and her compositions always look astounding! I think her art is kinda of expressionistic as well (don’t know if that’s the right word to use 😭). You can make out so much without there being any clear lines or border. The shapes and edges of her ‘blobs’ of colour convey all that you need to see to make out a beautiful piece. That’s just my interpretation, but it’s really amazing to see the different work flows of different artists :) Your recreations were amazing! I really love your use of texture, and you honestly did everything really well ! Thank you for including the brushes for free too, I’ll definitely have to use them for my study! 👀
I think the best way to explain her art is "abstraction" or something whatever ;3
thanks a lot for your study videos! They are simple yet informative, and you always explain WHY you are doing something and how to do it. Honestly not many KZread videos help my art, but yours always do. My art has actually improved so much due to your help.

thank you for the kind words!
Really nice video, It helps me a lot with my art studies! :D Unfortunately, the brush set doesn't seem to work in krita (probably bc it can't read the file type). Do you, per chance, have a zip file/a different file type of the brushes? (Files of .bundle type seem to be working for example, tho im no expert in such things)

Thank you for the kind words! and I just did some research, and unfortunately, I don't think there's anyway to get Procreate brushes working with krita :(
very nice study video man, you really put a lot into it🔥. I wonder if you can do an analysis on QUASARCAKE 🥰

I've actually never heard of that artist before, but i'll check them out!
I used to do big blob of blacks to "carve" the body for years. no longer does it for now because my body become too fat around the limbs. I want to do it and try again.
I wanna ask something.. do you use blending mode on some layers or did you go by normal layers?
@KraymerArt

I only used blend modes for slight colour adjustments, but for the most part I just used normal layers

@KraymerArt Got it, Thanks!!
I just have a question, should I turn off pen pressure when doing this?
@KraymerArt

i think it would be better to keep pen pressure on so you can practice pressure opacity
