    I try to let the emotions flow as often as I can, but sometimes they come on really intensely, or at a time, I need to stay grounded. When that happens, I will do deep belly breathing, or I will put focus on something like my 3rd eye. I have wondered, though, if these are actually avoiding the emotions, because they can sometimes abruptly stop when I do them. Is the only way not to avoid it ṭo let the emotions flow every time?

    Even though I've been damaged by both prescribed & recreational drugs that brought forth psychosis, I still feel healing from your teachings. All anxiety can be healed. Don't self medicate & use caution & do research before consulting a psychiatrist! ❤

    I had my health anxiety in check, and recently separated from a long-term relationship where my partner was a nurse, and we ended up in more of a caregiving relationship and now I’m by myself, and find myself in constant fear that something’s going to happen to me. I now realize that she enabled my health anxiety. I’m getting such feelings of gloom and doom and anxiety thinking something’s going to happen to me and no one’s gonna be here to help me.

    I've been there since October. Had a manic episode in January and thought I healed,then it hit harder. It's not a linear path,but I'm slowly healing. From a couple panic attacks a day,to one a day,to now I can go a day or two in between them. Keep trying to move and live. Immobilizing yourself trains your body that that is all you can do when you feel like this. Even standing to go to the bathroom was spiking my anxiety. It's easier said than done,but almost pretending that you don't feel horrible and scared can help. We can get through this ❤

    Yes, the key is to believe in healing your anxiety with all your heart and emotions. It's so hard to do. I'm in the middle of the health anxiety program and I've had many ups and downs since starting 5 weeks ago. I'm currently actually experiencing a setback and it is a tough thing to come to grips with. I'll get there with all the notes and breathing techniques Dennis has given us. They really help. Good luck and God bless!!!

    Hello Dennis. I've been listening to your podcast & watching your videos as well and they're helping me. I'm off meds. I've health anxiety around cardiac disease as a few months back during a regular health checkup my BP readings were a off by a huge margin 160/100 or 170/105 at Doctors chamber and everywhere else it was 110-125/72-80. My psych said its nothing to worry about but the fear hasnt left me. The doc who initially checked me up saw high BP and started gaslighting me that oh youve such a high bp at such a young age (I'm 31 and I move around quite a bit, not a couch potato by any means but I'm slightly overweight due to anxiety meds), you'll develop cardiac problems for sure. She even gave me BP meds which I havent taken yet as my psych has asked me throw them away. The thing is offlate doing high intensity exercise like sprinting or climbing 100+ stairs in a go causes me breathlessness which triggers my health anxiety and results into a panic attack of sorts. What to do in such situations?

    Please explain this. I ask sincerely, as someone who's ill and is drawn into anxiety from catastrophic disease or physical pain ...as your body is your environment ? Thanks, you're channel is really helping me. Illness anxiety disorder ain't easy.

  • @TheAnxietyGuy1

    @TheAnxietyGuy1

    Жыл бұрын

    Your environment affects your body and your body affects your environments because of the feelings that you feel. That’s why it’s important to understand that our emotional states are the language that plays out into the world revealing what it is we want more of, over any consciously created logical thing we think we want. A person in victimhood has a better chance of falling physically ill than someone who is content and filled with gratitude for example.
