lol I still can’t believe the game literally tricks you into being a poacher! Like “You’re saving them from the poachers” to “You can sell them here to this lady, she gives them good homes. She also sells ANIMAL BYPRODUCTS!” 😂 I never thought hunting was in my personal skill set, but damn if I won’t sit invisibly on a jobberknoll nest for an hour just catching whatever comes by! Haha I wish that level of patience was possible for me IRL!! (not to sit and catch animals, that seems extremely boring. CRUEL, I mean. It seems cruel. But you know, boring.)

Herbologist 3 is stupidly OP too when stacked with talents. Chinese Chomping Cabbage alone will one-shot any normal enemy and take out larger enemies like tarantulas and ogres with ease.

For a build like that should I just use the herbology 3 on all my gear or is there anything else I need to use I think there’s another trait that does the same thing but it’s stronger

a bit of a tip use Glacius instead of Levioso when you try to catch a beast. It Lasts longer and is kinda casted faster than levioso

I found out that when you catch certain animals Arresto momentum helps much more than levioso. Because Arresto Momentum has a much longer effect and you are able to fill up more points as with Levioso.

Yeah, with medium level creatures Arresto Momentum is great but with with the more difficult ones, Glacius is better it lasts longer.

Levioso 3s Arresto momentum 5s Glacius 5s freezing, 1s getting up (6s in total)

I don't think you get a "bonus" based on stacking a trait, rather the percentage is multiplicative e.g a 15% increase multiplied 6 times would be 1.15^6=2.31 meaning a 131% increase in damage

You CANNOT get all traits from ONE bandit camp. You can get ANY trait with this method but you will need to do it on a different camp when you find the one you want

Yeah, the Unforgivable build is way OP, even more so when you slot Unforgivable III in all your gear. Just using basic cast on cursed targets does insane damage and being able to one shot all cursed targets on the screen by just hitting one of them with Avada Kedavra is DBZ level attack 😉

I go Unforgivable 3. Throw a rock back at a Troll to stun it. Expelliarmus to curse it real quick, Glacio and follow up with Diffendo or Bombarda.

Great job on showing us how to upgrade a trait on a piece of armor....I love these videos that show you what you can do, but someone never tell you how.

I’m stealth dark arts on my slitheryn character. Sneak into a group use imperio, while the group is distracted fighting their own man who suddenly went hostile i sneak between them casting patrificas totalis.

Stacking these with the two DPS potions is also really fun, plus when you freeze an enemy they also take extra damage. Who needs an unforgivable curse when you can blast your enemy into icy chunks with no legal repercussions?

My surefire way to catch any beast would be Accio until they're right next to me, then Glacius to freeze them and then bag em! I've never missed a beast. Or just change difficulty to skip the whole process

Once you start putting some points into Dark Arts and Spells, all it takes to be overpowered is to learn how to manage curses. If you know what you’re doing, you can clear the field by cursing everything and using Avada Kadavra.

So you could theoretically have 4 sets of gear for 4 spells with the corresponding trait, and then gear switch inbetween casting each spell. You have an individual gear set for diffindo, bombarda, confringo, incendio, and switch sets after you cast one.

Please keep in mind to choose the "Manual save" option and not "Autosave" when carrying out that save trick for Traits. Just for clarity cause for a long time I thought that trick didn't work for my game.

I like the ancient magic spells the most, so i went 6 lvl 3 ancient magic damage traits. Then if you go to the ancient magic hotspots and collect you can get 4-5 ancient magic casts. It one shots everything for me. My 3 main spells are transfiguré with explosive keg upgrade, and the two ancient magic spells. Basically i transfiguré the first person to a keg, throw it at someone, then use ancient magic damage. 3 people dead in 3 spells and 2 seconds.

I wish I had found this video a month ago. I had 74 of 75 traits complete, and of course Concentration III was the only one left. I was looking everywhere. Completing everything, in the hopes of finding it. I couldn't find anymore Bandit camps. So I thought maybe I had fallen victim to the "Follow the butterflies" bug. But luckily I found a bandit camp I missed down by Marunweem Lake, and bam! it was there. (at that point I was using the Save/Reload trick) Thanks for the advice, even if i found it too late. :)

Just put concentration 3 on everything, this hits 4k to 8k damage depending on spells at level 40 but still allows you to perform in the battle as a wizard/witch.

I know that I be slamming the animals down then slowing time. Might do the slam twice just to get the point across that I’m trying to save them.

Herbology 3 is amazing. pair this with the fertilizer perk and you can kill everything with chinese chomping cabbage.

You can also cast glacius on animals to when you are capturing them. Works better than levioso and lasts a little bit longer.

I really hope they add a ng+ to this so I can really just be the most powerful wizard throughout the whole story

Add a lot of Jobberknolls because to upgrade your gear you need their feathers for each upgrade . They go fast.

Concentration III is op but making sure you have the very best gear for your level plus upgrading it 3 times really makes you op to anything, everything is so easy. Ranrok was so simple I barely moved or used wiggies with only Concentration II equipped.

i just one shot graphorn and ranrock and other few missions with ancient magic build in normal mode lol. it literally took me 5-10 secs for graphorn and ranrock with his 3 stages like hardly a min lmao

I run One tier 3 ambush, 3 tier 3 unforgivable and I tier 3 explosive for bombarda and shit on lvl 33+ enemies in two to three hits

At lvl 29 with 6 unforgivable 3 the 4th hit in my basic cast on a cursed target was hitting for around 930. I'd imagine Herbology 3 would be pretty sick if you were doing a plant build.

I tried it with my first playthrough as a Hufflepuff and it's ridiculously powerfull if you stack herbology 3. Just land in a camp, pull out a mandrake and they're all dead. Alternatively, sneak up on a troll, release two cabbages and the troll is dead. Doing a potions damage build now with a Gryffindor so I want concentration 3., but I might make a herbology gear set to swap into if I feel like it.

That’s all I’ve been using lol. Concentration lvl 1 on all equipment

Curse builds are great fun, and the best way to go if you wanna be a spellslinger, but herbology is legitimately more OP.

Beware my Garden of Doom!!!

Time saving tip: After you've loaded your save game once, you can then just select "Reload from last save" and that will save you the step of having to select which savegame to load.

This guy is a legend and I first started watching during my rdr2 era I think and I watched the vid on how to get rich and immediately recognized ur voice thx bro🙏🗣

personaly what i used was 3 od unforgivable 3 and 3 of anchient magic 3 i just made like the boss cursed using arresto momentom and then used anchient magic i three shot it it was broken

I really hope they add some DLC, I beat the story by level 32 and find it hard to put any more time into the game. It's Quality > Quantity

NF simple life just learning how to be productive

I'm not High level, only got concentration 3 on 3 items, and it took me long enough to get the third one. So I don't see how you get that much of it up that high, considering only the other 3 have enough space to be only level 2.

Literally all my spells are killer curses now cuz I have the best gear upgraded all the way and my favorite damage spells on level 3 and the concentration 3 twice

The game is honestly challenging when you start out, but then you get to a point where you cast adava kadavra on a troll and it actually kills both trolls that you are currently fighting and that's the kind of respect that I'm tryin to have in the wizard world

How do you get the loom cause i have unlocked fhe room of req but i have no loom. Is it a quest specific item?

Just keep doing main quests. Eventually deek will tell you about the loom.

If you play on PC you can press "P" to go to the settings tap right away.

I tried doing this the other day and chest was still open wen i loaded up my save not sure why that is maybe they patched it

for capturing any animal, the FIRST TIME easy easy.... FREEZE IT, then ARESTO it right after. it will roll around on the ground, giving u time to get all 4 or 5 captures on it, before it moves, because now it has to get back into a correct position, then get up, then run. so if its rolling on its back.. that extra 4 seconds is all you need to catch it the first time. no chasing it down.

Wouldn't drinking a liquid luck potion before trying to farm lvl 3 traits help?

So if you have the LVL 3 version of traits is that any reason you would ever use 1 or 2?

The only reason would be if you don't have a legendary piece of gear, say its purple for example you can only apply a level II trait, as you cant apply a level III to that item. however if your opening all loot boxes while doing quest exploring Hogwarts and hamlets (as a burglar/ thief) you should be able to pick and choose and get all legendary items while leveling.

Kneazles are actually much closer. Just SE from Hogwarts. I see you had it greyed out though.

Can you put the same on all your clothing? 3 on each piece of clothing?

Honestly Game can expand even more with builds. I can see this game being like Assassins creed where there’s weekly challenges so player can’t get bored after completing everything. Also exclusive raid like features where we get a named opponent to defeat for exclusive gear. Heck I’m surprised it doesn’t have micro transactions.

I really hope they don’t add microtransactions. If it had online co-op or PvP arenas, I’d totally pay for cosmetics. But as long as it remains a single player game, I think any new cosmetics should be unlocked in game

@@tylerriesermusic what I’m saying is it’s so good and so much potential I’m willing to pay for more things to be added into game like what ubisoft is going with Assassins creed with biweekly cosmetic releases. Not to mention weekly challenge events. I’m surprised they didnt do it like that. Wouldn’t mind pvp like wizards chess tbh. Completed the game with every challenge done, what I notice is after that there’s no incentive to keep going other than making a new character to be in another house just to get the trophy. And There are also flaws to the game. Don’t know why but the only way to gain xp is by doing the challenges. Which is why I feel like they need to do a new game plus because it’s such boring thing to grind for the lvl again.

@@Hc4697 hell yeah! They need to expand the build system. Right now it’s so mediocre. And lacks content. If only it was a live service game. Not to mention if they’re going to encourage being a dark wizard, why can’t I fly around with black smoke like the dark wizards in game? Devs need to rethink everything and ignore the controversy, and that’s why I feel like they got held back because of it, we could have gotten more.

I stack Curse damage like crazy, and if my equipment can't handle a lvl 3 trait, I do Crucio damage. I'm an evil Ravenclaw

I stack a trait in a gear, then I sell it. So loss my (special) trait forever?

Once you upgrade your gear it doesn't seem to matter much what you do. I just have a single trait for the spells I use the most and I wreck everything anyway. The power creep seems more artificial than anything you have to build. I had legendary gear for a long time but I didn't get super OP until I bothered to fully upgrade it, now I basically one or two shot everything, don't even need dark arts. My ancient magic one shots the trolls now too.

Change ur game difficulty to story when catching beasts guys, deletes the minigame. Just walk up and nab them

Best way to catch any animal is to freeze them and then grab them. The freeze knocks them down and they take awhile to get back up to run away. Easy

Diffino is the greatest combo. If you stack em. You can hit a 50k. I just did 42k, lol

Honestly not worth it if you have a decent build. I have unupgraded armor at level 30 with a semi dark build. First combos are: Accio, incendio, glacius and diffindo (These 4 combos alone are insane , especially if you throw in an ancient magic attack here and there). Second wheel is: Transformation, crucio, imperio and avada. I often start with a transformation into an imperio + crucio. If this sequence doesn't kill them I switch to the first wheel or just cast avada and kill everything (crucio + avada mastery). I spent 45 minutes trying to get concentration 3 and just said fuck this, at some point lol.

Dude the increases are percentage based, it's not a flat amount. Concentration 3 adds a 9% boost, 358*1.09 = 390 358*1.09^6 = 600. Some traits are multiplicative, others are additive.

Instead of breeding a few, a good way to get a bunch of materials and money is to fill inventory with them and swap a whole room out, then sit by feeder and brush them. Then just swap your other beasts back in and sell the ones on cooldown. That way you can keep special ones in room for more expensive materials and pick up the horns for the 3rd damage upgrade every time you sell

@@armius063 what hes trying yo say is you capture the beasts, pluck theur fur in your room, then sell the beasts instead of waiting 25 minutes for the next fur. You get your upgrade materials and money and can head back out and repeat. You can use that money to buy horns and phoenix feathers from 3 different shops (phoenix only2) so that you can have max upgrades before you own a phoenix or graphorn. Capturing and selling beasts is a great way to become overpowered early on. You wont loot enough chests to have enough money early on thats where rescuing beasts comes in. I can say something takes it a step further. At gladrags wizardwear you can buy legendary gear there. If you wait 3 days his gear selection changes, and might have better gear. He has at his shop gear that is better than any guaranteed legendary chest in the world. Every time you level up, he will have gear your level. So if you rescue enough beasts as soon as you have the nab sack, youll never have problems afterwards for ingredients or money or upgrades.

One thing that grinds my gears lol is the alohamora spell mini game. Idk why but i just didnt like it, cos u know magic u dont have to do a lockpicking mini game, it should unlock right away. Other than that this game is awesome.

Believe nexusmods has one which eliminates the mini game. Yep i agree. It will get aggravating.

I modded my game and now i'm unstoppable hehe. I already completed the entire game, so it's okay. My Avada Kadavra cooldown is only 1 second.

Easiest way to be OP is to change the difficulty to Story.

Concentration 3 is nice and but if you want the most damage it’s not the way to go.

Even without the actual curses you could still use unforgivable for normal spells you just have to have the perk that allows them to also curse enemies

Omg…bless whomever made this video. Seriously. And bless the KZread algorithm for somehow knowing that all my Legacy characters are secretly devious assholes. THIS IS AMAZING!! I am very new to gaming (I used to read books and do crafts, lol, screw it) and this is the first game I’ve played all the way through, but there were 4 slots, so obviously I needed a character in all 4 houses….I really do have too much free time. Literally.

tried this and any other attempt at the chest is met with an emptied chest.

With the Dark Arts talents you can make that Expelliarmus, Diffindo, Confringo and Bombarda curse the enemies too. That, stacked with Unforgivable III and Concentration III plus one trait from your favorite/more used spell makes it OP

You mean Flipendo not Diffindo. It's also funny because the curse applies before things like troll club to face damage, so you can nearly one-shot trolls (at level 40) by using Flipendo. Does like 18k damage. Also, no reason to mix concentration and another trait. You want 6 Unforgivable IIIs.

@@arvandor6820 I don't remember if Flipendo has its cursed version (I barely use it), I might be wrong with Diffindo. I just kill trolls with glacius, diffindo, confringo, bombarda and ancient magic.

I haven't been using traits because I thought once you used them you lost them.

I'll try it myself, but you might want to have stacked 6 defendos and see the damage vs one defendo and 5 concentration.

The benefit of 5 concentration and one specialty is that while the specialty is on cooldown you can use other damage spells and still get relatively high damage before switching to your specialty again.

I'm on level 28, with half Diffindo III, Half Ancient Magic III, and I don't have the numbers in mind, but it's very close to one kill shot for smaller enemies...and not much more for single ones. Battle feat asked of me now: finish the battle under o:17, then o:o9 seconds.... It works insanely well. Hat/Face hand: Diffindo III Outfit/cloak/Scarf : Ancient Magic III With corresponding Talents Highly recommend 🪄🪄🪄

How do yoy have multiple breeding pens in one area???
