Put it in a multi bird feeder. Put the feeder up at night. Then you wont have mice.

I have piles of pellets all over the place. It’s so frustrating. I’m sure part of it is the heat. It’s been extremely hot. I tried switching that food but maybe I’ll just take the food things out for a little bit and see if they eat. what’s on the ground. Thanks for the advice. I hope this works.

I use hen House reserve to mixed with flock preserver. As long as I actually let them empty their balls they do eat the stuff they knock to the ground

Cannot feed corn to my chickens. Every time I do, @Ieast 1 will have issues. (diarrhea, bloating, sour crop, etc) they free range, w/feed in the morning, so that’s not the issue. Have a 50# bag of scratch grains, I’ve been going thru very slowly. If I have time, I will actually hand pick the corn & soy beans out of a treat, but that’s not very often. Curious if anyone else has this issue w/chickens and corn?

!only do thart if the nutrients are calculated for chickens. Otherwize you force them to eat unbalanced. Animals sort out their food and eat the food with the nutrients they need. They leave what they dont need or what is unhealthy. Of corse they also might eat the fatty and caby foods first, thsts why you should feed a mix calculated for the nutrition needs of the animal

That's it exactly! The rodents will eat the food right along with the chickens! & If there's no chicken feed, the rodents go after the eggs. 😢

It's filler. Bird seed is the same with red millet.
