After the bios configuration, windows, networking, and drivers comes platform and communications programs (steam, epic, discord, etc). Then productivity pie es such as ssms, visual code, mysql workbench, python, ms office and so on.
Some BIOS settings to check out: DOCP/XMP: enables your RAM to run at rated speeds. "Data link feature exchange" and "Above 4G decoding": these affect data rates on your PCI bus. "Resize bar": modern graphics cards need this enabled. "SR-IOV support": if you use virtual machines or Windows Sandbox, this allows hardware acceleration within the virtual machine.

Still bogles the mind some board come with re-bar disabled by default
When I got my PC, I created a USB boot drive with the help of the official Microsoft tool downloaded from the website. Unfortunately, after installation, during boot process, the PC always froze. No reinstall helped, every time it got stuck on the Windows logo. After many desperate reinstalls it turned out, it was the boot drive, the official app created a faulty install image, so I had to grab a working install drive from my friend and that solved it. Just left this information here if anyone ever runs into this issue.
