For the big guys to develop the cavs have to make it a point of emphasis to work through them. They have been way to reliant on guard play to score. Unfortunately that is off season work

The Cavs devoted so much attention to Tatum that it was easy for Jaylen and Derrick to score at will.

I REALLY appreciate WIndy's honesty. SO many media pundits in Cleveland do nothing but shine blandishments at the Cavs and the truth is, JB, KOBY and Dan have brutally failed this team. Mobley has to develop offensively. Strus, Niang, Caris and DG just arent good enough. Have to make some moves.

Dean wade and Allen being out is killing us. But. The Cavs had more open looks in game 1 against the Celtics than they did in 3 games against the Magic. They just didn’t go down. The Celtics aren’t the 96 Bulls. Yes they are very good. But they aren’t invincible.

Celtics fan here - not throwing shade (I have clients / friends in CLE), but it’s a math question. CLE has to hit a lot more 3s than they are used to, to have a chance against the Celtics. My guy KP is warming the bench atm with a calf injury - but the downside for CLE is that Boston plays at a faster pace when KP sits. Mitchell is awesome, but he can’t carry everything.

They need to admit that the C’s are a juggernaut, not that teams like that doesn’t get surprised. But the Celtics are simply a vastly better team. Milwaukee didn’t rise to the challenge this season and it’s difficult to believe that this Boston team will fail four times to an inferior Cavs team with injuries. Maybe Denver, Minnesota or Oklahoma will give the Celtics a challenge in the finals. I still believe that the C’s are in a league with say the 1986 team with Larry Bird. We’ll see. The Cavs will fall to the C’s as they did in 1985.

The Cavs can win the series but they need to start playing up to what they're capable of. We've seen what they can do but they don't play that way often enough. I don't know if it's because of the head coach or if it's just the mental makeup of the team but playing the way they have been isn't going to cut it.

@@Eric-pg4zs The issue with Koby is that he seems to overlook the need for height and length to succeed in the NBA. Mobley is not a miss, but Sexton, Garland and Okoro all lack height and length. SGA went after Sexton, along with Mikal Bridges, Miles Bridges, Michael Porter, Jr. The Garland draft was a weak one, but I’d argue that the Cavs would be better off spending the max money they gave Garland on longer stronger players. In the Okoro draft, Okongwu and Haliburton jump out. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
