Bought my bike from the same dealership a few years back, Honda NC700.

Indeed, you will fall in love.

The vstrom feels like a much bigger bike than I was expecting. The versys fits me better so I figure the smaller tenere would suit me being a smaller bike .

It is about 50 lbs lighter and is more manageable off road for sure. The vstrom is amazing on road though.

Congrats on the new bike! I just got the new AT in August. It’s been so much fun!

Thanks the bike is a blast so far.

When i order my T700 i put small Led indikators, central strand and heated grip. Crashbar medium sice with 2 waterproof bags (6liters x2) Now waiting for 2021 to test The little beast.. 💪🤘

I think this is the only bike where I've gone "whoa" on the stock exhaust, its quite nice

I have to talked to some very experienced riders and they think it's hard to beat stock exhaust.

@@TrippinwithMitch yeah, im very jealous of you getting to own one. lucky fella! The only downside to the stock one is the weight honestly, and the catalytic converter in the pipes. I still dont know how it sounds so good

Another buddy said you can get more hp and smoother running because they come so chocked up from the factory for emission standards. That and an ecu will make it smoother apparently.

Beautiful where you live man. I’m curious how tall are you and how did you manage with the seat height.

I'm 5'9 and it's not bad I can always hang my ass of the side a bit if I need too. Any taller and there would be no issues.

@@TrippinwithMitch it is not a persons height that counts but more the leg inseam. Some people may have a height nearing 6 Feet, but the same inseam as a 5 feet 9 inch person. To be of help answering this question leg inseam should be used.

Walked innocently into a dealership on Thursday, was offered a test ride on a Tenere 700. Collected my brand new Tenere 700 less than 24 hours later. What a bike, suits me perfectly. And will suit me even more perfectly after I've emptied my wallet on bling!

@@lowlightguy6606 hey, I haven't been riding because it is winter, but should be on the road soon. The bike is great and I think it would be awesome in Africa. I don't think I will be able to ride there at least for a few years. Just be aware that the tanks smaller so you can only get around 200km which isn't great, I am looking at an option for adding another 5l. Cameladv has a tank you can add under the seat and sits behind the pannier rack

Rode xsr, tracer, both fantastic, and for a laugh, as I don’t want an off road bike, the t7. So why do I now want the T7 ? Just loved it.

@@TrippinwithMitch Your suggesting an adv bike to just ride on the road is the right bike ? Do I look like a GS rider ? Haha. I have a tracer 9, so perfect for me, but damn, the t7 was so unexpectedly enjoyable.

No not at all. If your never going offroad then it's not really practical. My vstrom was great for occasional off road and awesome on road. I don't think I would suggest the T7 for a pure on road bike but it is a lot of fun. 😃

Thank you . we live in the same area . the tenere is way too tall is crazy how tall thos bikes are getting every year they gain 1" they. Should sell them with a step ladder . 😂

Got stuck with my KLR 650. Typed Yamaha dealership in google. Went there and on the spot told the guy, 'I want to purchase a Ténéré'. All of this because I had seen a video about the Ténéré on KZread. Logged 13 000 Km last summer. What's wrong with me!?

Nothing! Lol great choice. I find the bike so much more capable than my vstrom. Maybe not on pure highway riding but for all around it is definitely better 😃

@@TrippinwithMitch Honestly, riding it on the pavement is very fun! In eastern Canada, we can start riding mid-March. I count days like when I was 5 years old and counting days before Santa. I told my girlfriend I think about it like 10 minutes a day. Man, it's like 5 hours a day.

I have a 650 too. I wish it had more Lo & mid range power. How does the power/torque on Ténéré compare to the Vstrom.

I'm getting a ktm 790s is way better . the tenere is just a big tall dirt bike .
