Bro, I will try to say things from my perspective and the little which I have seen and noticed. What I feel is unless you are like super intelligent person don't put all your eggs in same basket. Give allllll the exams and all slots. Give CAT, XAT, NAMT, SNAP (all slots). You just can't depend on CAT alone cause you don't know how it's gonna be like plus some colleges of NCR haven't even given calls at 96 percentile so you can imagine. So do go for it but not just CAT. Yes, it will be costly but that is how it is yaar. If you do not​ wanna leave it on your luck. All exams, all slots is the key mahn. @@theviralfever7

I will say things from my perspective. Give CMAT if you can crack JBIMS that would be superb. else go for CAT but not only CAT give all the exams CAT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP (all slots) if you do not wanna leave things to your luck. I have seen many people who have done well in just one of these exams and gotten through. So, do prepare for it and give all the exams and all slots. People have not gotten calls at 96 percentile in cat from some colleges of NCR yk. @@theviralfever7

It's illogical to say that work and prepare for CAT .All jobs are not the same ,some work for 8 hours some for more than 14 hours. So how can one prepare in this situation. It's not possible, and i think the interview panel will understand this. In my opinion, it is better to sit in the IIM Calcutta interview with a gap year rather than IIM Vizag with a job. I was working in the construction field, so I had 14 hours of work for 6 days, and i wanted a career switch. Not all jobs are same sir and you should understand that before making such videos , don't demotivate us.

I had 1 year gap, 23 graduate and let me tell you, they asked me about the gap in most interviews. My takeaway is, they were more interested in as to why I didn’t go for a job directly after graduating from a tier 1 engineering college. My answer was I didn’t get the roles I was passionate about and decided to fast track into MBA which I planned initially. Probably seemed to work because I had converts from my best calls but I think it’s subjective and depends upon the mood of the interviewer. The REAL question is, does that gap affect your chances for placements because that’s what the ultimate aim for getting into any b-school is

Agar itna hi gap year se problems hai colleges ko toh CAT ka difficulty level itna high kyun jyada hai...And I have seen from 2022 onwards specially 2023 , the exam conducting faculty has increased the level of difficulty to the next level.Cat 2023 was really difficult and you can't give the exam without rigorous amount of preparation. If I compare the CAT 2023 paper with all other previous year CAT question papers then we can clearly see the transition of level of difficulty.

Well tbh, if we sum up total number of CAT aspirants (serious ones) and sum them over period of 3 years for seats at top 20 IIMs it wouldn't sum up, even serious aspirants fail, so this gap year philosophy seems very bogus, moreover how the hell IIM interviewers expect undergrad students to have job when there are such high unemployment rates, even par time jobs are hard to get and they are not even part time, internships too, hardly anyone gets it. This gap year philosophy is just a filtering tactic. Well tbh this too can be handled if reasons are explained.

Can something be done about doing something in upskilling aspect, because UG students have two options, prepare for master's or prepare for govt. exams? Selection rates in good master programmes are as low as any govt. exam. So, all one is left with is keep preparing, and doing something along with it, is not everyone's cup of tea. I know you never hesitate to show us harsh reality, but do we have any other options?

So, i graduated in 2021 but my session was late so they provided our marksheet in march 2022 so, ye kya meri galti h ki mera session late ho gya and mere gov college thi jaha koi company hi ni aayi ye v mere glti h. Now i gave cat in 2022 but got only 77%ile so i again decided to take cat in 2023 but in 2023 i got 94.86%ile and 99.32%ile in quant but only 67%ile in lrdi so, i didn't have cap call bcz of sectional cutoff. In my imt ghaziabad interview my pi of p-1 went good but when i moved to p-2 they started asking about my gap year and i didn't able to give answer of any of them now, when imt ghz result was declared i was unselected.

Bhaiya♥️,I learnt a lot about mba etc by watching your videos but I lost hope in getting into good mba colleges after seeing this video.. I have 3year gap,1 after 12th,1 in Engg,and one after Engg.. I'm a mechanical engineer passed out in 2023 couldn't able to crack the CAT as decided to do mba in sep,prepared,gave CAT but failed miserably..last hope was MH MBA CET because there is no GDPI before admission but sadly slot 4 was very tough(CAT,XAT copied questions) so couldn't manage time and tried flukes as much as possible..Now preparing for CMAT(the last hope) but the good colleges who accept CMAT scores are very less in numbers.. Now my plan is it I scored good marks in CMAT then good or else I will do job and side by side CAT preparation & the level of preparation is very good and I think I can crack CAT exam this year.. So Will it be a good idea? Because if I give CAT and Omets this year,total gap years will be 4😢 but I will do job after CMAT exam till the next year before joining mba.. Is there any chances of me to get into top B schools as condition of me is really pathetic right now.. majority of my friends, cousins are doing job except me.. it will be difficult for u(almost impossible) to get old iims but u can convert baby and new iims if u get 97+ even with gap year . Try and get max marks and prepare very well for the interview

I don't agree if you see the batch profile of Top B schools like IIM ABC, FMS, XLRI, SP Jain etc there are many students with one year gap. Yes definitely it is a desirable situation to have no gap but even if it is due to any reason up to one or two years are justified subject to justification

I took gap year in 2023, I graduated(BSc) in April 2023 and after so many efforts, hard work and dedication I still couldn't crack CAT and now i took another gap year but now to fill this gap year I took Advance Digital marketing course from MICA Ahmedabad and they providing me 6 months Internship but if I take this then I get stuck in Course + Internship + CAT preparation, so I get panic that what if I not clear CAT this time too. Set your priority and main goal first, either CAT+MBA or the Course+internship. Its great that you have already enrolled in something that's useful & upskilling yourself while continuing to prepare, but focus majority of your efforts towards CAT prep (as the difficulty & competition is increasing every year). The course & internship will surely help you a lot to justify the gap, and will also help in the future for jobs. If you believe in yourself, then give one more try, but along with doing something else (like part time job or the course/internship that you mentioned). Do not panic brother, prepare well and give it your best shot. Anything can happen, Be Positive.

focus on getting a high percentile in CAT, and good GDPI prep. Furthermore, also prepare a good justification for your gap- you can talk about how did you use this time to upskill yourself etc. and you should be good to go. Wishing you all the best

I think the major problem here is the education system. They assess you on score basis and if you took a gap for preparation then you're doomed. Seriously the difficulty has changed from 2022 to 2023 significantly. I'm not gonna take a gap year anymore. Cause the system sucks here in India. How can they say that's simple as an arts student it took me time to understand quants. It's like either you're brilliant student and have good capturing ability or it's not for you.

It might not be counted as a job, but it’s a valid justification for a gap year

You just burst the bubble.... I'm in too a 3rd yr BBA student...my elder cousin told the same thing NOT TO TAKE GAP YEAR, so I thought of taking up Diploma in some foreign language in the Gap Year & prep for CAT simultaneously

Hi sir,I am a working in IT sector,but this year I will be completing 2 years of work ex ,so I am thinking of leaving job in September,to prepare for exam as it became little hectic for me this year,so is the 6 month gap after September advisable as I will have completed 2 years by then

if you took 6 years gap then you must have atleast 3-4 years of work experience and if that’s the case then give Gmat and go abroad, best option

M good in academics n MBA was never in my list but MBA is the last option m remaining with. CAT ka preparation krne me tym Dena shi rhega ya CMAT dekr khi aur se MBA krlu ? Too much confusion. Plz help me out in this 😢😌

Is that even a question 😂. Don't go there it's not nationally recognised you won't even get placed into Ntpc. But if you want 4 lacs per annum nobody can stop you.

Kya bolre..koi bolta hai gap year of 1is fine koi bolta hai gap year is ..if we take 1yr for preparation after graduation... kya bkwas hai...but nobody ask to focus on cat ..and entrance exam for MBA....Khali video views ke liye bkwas.. atleast give a proper solution for what u are speaking

I would suggest if he doesn’t get in touch on time with you, you should start looking for someone from the same background as your son’s in iims.. they can tell you better than anyone from difficulty of exam to its possibility. Anyone else on yt is jus misguiding, not to forget they make videos for views..
