I’ve worked in an Amazon fulfilment centre and as a driver, and this episode is absolutely spot on with how they’re depicting Amazon. They are a horrible company to work for

As someone who works at Amazon, I can say this is totally accurate. Our first leadership principle is literally "customer obsession"

Yeah, that was the 2 part episode that was also the pilot to sell the series. Majel Barret was the original science officer (not Spock) and was referred to by the Captain as "number one". (She later became Nurse Chapel; and then went on to be Troi's crazy mom.)

I like how they animated him a bit differently to make him seem more otherworldly and creepy. Almost like the real Bezos, seriously look up footage of the guy.
I love how they interposed multiple voices together to make up Jeff Bezos' voice. He sounds like a man, a demon, and a kid at the same time lol.
Anyone that's familiar with the original Star Trek series knows that's where they got the look and the telepathic abilities of Jeff Bezos. I believe it was the pilot series called "The Cage." Forgetting about Star Trek, Amazon is a nightmare to work for, just ask anyone that's been there.

The concept of wireless communications and privacy violation is strong in this episode. Especially with a billionaire that uses A.I systems and owns other marking companies, statistic companies make mind reading and communication wirelessly a thing that is normalized among companies and wealthy families, who all deserve to suffer from tumours and cancers.
