Have to say I prefer daily shampooing.

I have the same problem as you with my hair. But I usually have to wash it by day 3. The most I've gone without shampooing was a week and by that time it so oily - it looked wet - and stiff, I needed to shampoo. Do an update on how this goes for you and more hair care topics from your research cause i'm curious since my hair is very similar.

I had also done the same mistake as what you did then I started apply shampoo 3 times a week after my barber suggested me to. Actually I think we should use paraben and sulfate free shampoos it was recommended. But I use loreal shampoo which contains sodium laureth sulphate it might cause damage to hair for 80% of us . You could try making a 30 day slowly cutting shampoo video, after I think 3 weeks your hair balances out the oils and will regulate itself. The shampoo usage makes hair greasy because it strips oils making the follicle produce more to protect the hair. After this cycle is cut your hair wont get very greasy at all, just wash with water and youll be good. worth a try.

My brother has medium coarse straight hair it took him sometime to realize that his hair was not greasy looking after not shampooing it daily that hair should have a natural silky shine to it. Guys with longer hair particularly hose with straight or near straight hair are often told that their longer hair is greasy and it's just not true. Many non shampoo cleansing products are available instead of using shampoos. Target stores and other places can be found online. your longer hair looks great on you. Longer hair is wearing your own personal hairstyle. instead of shorter one style fits all.

Hello Tozyro, I've been watching your videos for a few months and you've been a big motivator in my hair growth. I'm approaching my 5 month mark in 4 days time. I wanted to know if at any time in your current hair growth journey you cut your hair a little, perhaps at the sides or anything. Do you recommend having these cuts and how often did you cut it if you did cut it?

I go daaaaays without washing my hair and it’s always dry… seems we gave the opposite struggles 😂

My hair type is the same as yours, like how the ends curl up, the waviness, and the length. I'm getting a haircut in about 8 hours and 30 minutes from this comment. I had a question, when was your last haircut?

I'm not washing my hair with shampoo or conditioner at all. I just use water. It works for me and many others like Dre Drexler.

eh fuck it, i've tried washing once a week, once every 3 days, twice a week, et cetera (and i gym daily, and i sweat alot). i've decided the right choice was to wash it everyday, i usually include it in the after-gym shower in the morning. and then i dont wash my hair again before bed, except if it was a really hot day and im sweating that way my hair isn't greasy, it feels better and silkier, smells good, it's more convenient i dont have to avoid water touching my head in the shower, my pillow doesn't smell like sweaty head, my hair doesn't look shiny and gross, it's just better in every way
