Yes we need to be, because we won't grow unless we experience areas of life that makes us feel uncomfortable. The moment we start being "comfortable with being uncomfortable" is a major signs of growth.

Mellody is inspiring to me. I'm grateful to be a woman and an African American woman. Such a encourager💜👍 My favorite is stand up for what you believe in. So many people shy away from fighting for what they believe in. Not me anymore! I am running to the fight not from it. Let't Go!

First, I would like to say "Thank you" for making this video with Mellody Hobson, Carl.All ten rules were great! I would have to say that my favorite rule is number five: "Have Patience" When Mrs. Hobson began to explain what having patience can do for you, it resonated with me as I am a person who does not enjoy the moment. I am always looking towards the next goal instead of appreciate the present accomplishments. Although being patient is not something that can be learned over night, I am, now, dedicated to exercising patience daily! Living in the moment! Loving life and everything it has to offer. Enjoying the present with the future in mind.

I have been following Mellody for years. She gave a speech at the company I worked for about 10 years ago. She is so inspiring; I love every rule she shared with us!

I ADORE Mellody Hobson!!!! She inspires me in so many ways!!!! I loved all points. But I liked "Be Brave" and "Stand for what you believe" So good!!!

This moment hearing her say "be comfortable with being uncomfortable " is perfect for me at this moment and a bit of a challenge but needed to hear this!

My favs "5. have patience" "6. win with kindess". "8. be comfortable with uncomfortable" "9. Be brave". I love her!! Totally agreed with her views of happiness, focused on building my career, yet happiness and fulfillment are my goal.

This gave me goosebumps. I love her. I loved all the rules. I learned that that’s it’s never going to get easier and if we learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, then we can can make it through the escalating challenges we are going to face. Thank you for sharing!

For one to learn from their failures is excellent advice. Being comfortable with being uncomfortable is great advice too. There are many jewels in this presentation; however, these two are probably my favorites.

#10 When I met John Lewis this year, I cried and all I said was "Thank You". He is the last one and still have the courage to speak out with no fear.

“Be Brave" is simply stated, but is far from simplistic. Instead, it’s complex and chock FULL of Anxiety … if it’s your first rodeo. Still, I love the concept and Melody Hobson for including it in her Top 10 Rules for Success. Shalom!

number 10 was my favorite I have stood on what I believe which was a painful experience because many will not stand with you but I thank God for Jesus who promise to never leave me or forsake me. Be blessed to all of you.

My Favorite rule is Be comfortable w/uncomfortable in order to get thru the fear you have to place yourself in those situation. I will always be in my mind ACTION CONQUERS FEAR.

I honestly have had a hard time choosing. I have experienced all ten of her tenets. I would say that I am in a phase of my life where I can completely embrace #1, Be a Fanatic.
