Sometimes pictures or pdf files can have links included (rare). Be careful everyone. Ignore suspicious messages here that lead you into direct messaging or social media. As mentioned. Great video. Thx for the update.

The asking for my email just happened to me... I just started up my shop, so I was so excited at first (thinking it was legit). Luckily, I thought it seemed fishy, so didn't give them any info but it was such a letdown. Scammers are the worst!

Same, literally happened an hour ago. I sent my email not knowing then a video notification literally came across my phone about it. They sent an email with links to click but luckily I'd caught on by then. People suck!!! I have everything in place that I can to help with security.

I've had the exact same problem with my shop and it's only been open less than a week. Don't these people realise that Etsy already have the email addresses of all of their shop owners?!

I’ve had someone pretending to be you comment to me asking me to contact them. I’ve also had someone ask me if they can help me with my store and they kept making new accounts and messaging me over and over. The Etsy seller app doesn’t have the spam option which is super annoying. Thank you for posting this!! I am a new store and I thought the messages about fixing my store were super fishy

I thought this video was about the Mockup issue, by the way another channel showed the message Etsy is sending about it, and I had the same message in July when I told you that my store turned like a ghost store, lol. No visit/views/sales. Thanks God is getting better, like yesterday I did one of your tips and placed a t-shirt design that is getting a lot of attention in my store (but not sale) into a Christmas ornament and has already made 2 sales in less than 24 hours!!!! Hi Cassiy! Thank you so much for this, it is super helpful. I am brand new to POD. I have been an Etsy shopper for years (Don't ask how much I have spent!) I am excited to be on the other side of things. I stumbled on one of your videos unexpectedly and have been obsessed. I have watched most and just finished your mini course. I plan on taking the POD roadmap in January, but am going to get started on my store next week. Would you please do a video on how to handle negativity from friends/family? I am going to share with people that I am starting a new business and I know some are going to give me comments about it being too expensive, etc. I know the difference is that my shirts will be unique, but I would like guidance around how to respond tactfully. I did fall for the send me your email so I can place an order one. I got too excited being a new seller. Never got an email from them asking me to click any link. Subsequently found a forum talking about this exact thing and now I am aware of these scammers and they will not get me again. Live and learn I guess. Thank you for making this video. I got an email from a guy who said he is part of Etsy and wanted to help me build my business. I don’t trust that.

Super glad I was suspicious of this email I received this morning. Received an email from a “buyer” saying they were unable to purchase an item and needed my email. Decided to research this situation and learned it was a scam. Sucks because I thought I finally had my first customer. 😂😅 thank you for the tips! I feel lucky because this video JUST came out a hour ago. THANK YOU! Fun fact Cassy is my name (nickname) too! ☺️

Dear Cassiy, very informative, thank you🙂In your "Income and expense report" is there a way to modify the Payment Processing Fees calculation? (as for non US based sellers those numbers are higher than in the US: a percentage+ a fix number together = 4% + 0.30 euro/ item) Also, on your Etsy mockup store, your mockups are safe to use, because actually you wear the shirts, sweatshirts, you should absolutely make a video about your store, now that mockup mess is just on the table. Would be helpful for us 😊

I do have one question that I'm not seeing answered anywhere really.. and that is if I would be able to offer free shipping, AND paid for express shipping on the same item. I'd like to offer free shipping, but also give people the option to receive their items faster if they wish to pay for it. So you know if it's possible to do on a printify/etsy store?

One that almost got me as a new seller about a week ago was a message that looked like it was from Etsy that said I got my first sale (I was very excited so my brain turned off a little), it had all kinds of info, and looked quite legitimate. It wanted me to login with a link and add my credit card info, so that was a huge red flag. I just waited to see if a sale showed up in my list, and when it didn't show up I marked the message as spam and had myself a little cry lol

people! i dont even answer the phone to unknown numbers. They can literally record your voice to get access to your accounts that are voice activated by voice recognition. be careful!

I wish I had seen your video before today. I just got the email scam and clicked on the link. Luckily, it stopped there, but it’s really scary to know that there are viscous people out there like that who will take advantage and go after your hard earned money the easy way.

I love your video's. Do you have any information on Etsy taking down tons of listings from sellers that use mock ups? I haven't seen any of the larger creators talk about it, only the smaller ones. Im just confused on what to do about using them fir my listings.

This video was right on time. I just had somebody ask to help me: "Good day, I trust you are well. I came across your amazing store and I would like to commend the diligent work you have invested in establishing your retail establishment. I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of your products, which clearly stand out from the competition. However, it has come to my attention that your store may not be realizing its full revenue potential and this is because your store lacks some really important customer engaging tool Can we have a professional discussion about this?" The phrases, "amazing store" and "thoroughly impressed" turned me off, because all of that sugariness hurt my teeth. The name was listed as "Bright". So, be on the lookout.

Why does Etsy remove some of my listings that don’t have any particular reason to get removed? 😭😭 It’s so frustrating. The listings that got removed don’t have anything in common, and nothing in the policy applies to them. How can I prevent it from happening and even more so, prevent suspension, if I don’t know why they remove listings?! 😭😭

Does anyone know if the printify ratings really matter ? Swiftpod rating is 9.1 and underground threads is higher but Cassiy likes swift?

How can someone access your account because you clicked a link? I did click a link recently. I have not seen the money from my recent sale. What should I do? Etsy help is basically non existent. No phone number to call. The email process is so confusing. Nothing is direct. Why? Why do they make is so hard. Why are there so many scams allowed to victimize sellers?

Can you be scammed just from replying to a “hi” message? I don’t want to be unprofessional and not reply but also don’t want to be scammed. I haven’t had someone purchase something in like a year so I thought it was weird.

Hi Cassiy, Thanks for all the inspiration. I am a newbie in this business and I want to start listing in my POD shop on Etsy and using Printify for that. I saw shops that had many items listed under one T-shirt posting (like unisex t shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt, toddler t-shirt, etc.). I wanted to see if this is a good idea to do so or just list everything separately (one for T-shirt, one for sweatshirt, etc.). And second question: Can we use off white instead of pure white for dark color shirt like Bella canvas 3001 and etc or it only should be used for hoodies and crewneck Sweatshirts? Thanks.

It all depends on what licensing comes along with your purchased mockup, some people say you cannot edit them in any way.

Definitely sounds like spam, after I made this video Etsy made an update where any messages from Etsy are in a separate “from Etsy” section in your message area! If it’s not in that section then just mark it as spam

So sorry I am not sure exactly what type of scam they are trying to run so I would make sure you have 2 factor authentication turned on for your Etsy shop and just in case they got access to even more than that, keep an eye on your bank/credit cards for any fraud this week! I might be over reacting but I just don't know what they are trying to do with those links.

This morning, 10/30/23 I clicked your link to purchase ▷ INCOME/EXPENSE REPORT WITH PROFIT CALCULATOR. I have the Pay Pal receipt but so far I haven't received the document. I have checked my email, (including junk) downloads, etc. Was I scammed? :( thank you in advance for a reply. 🙂
