We can no recommend this unit. We've now had two units and on both calls, the speakers seem to go out and rattle and distort after a few years of use, especially in cold weather.

Yeah this happened to me as well I was wondering if I can buy some replacement speakers if it would help or if it would just happen again? It's too bad that the speakers are such junk and cold weather because it's a beautiful piece of equipment.

Imported. while FoxProPro is American made right here in Pa. Warranty better on FoxPro's. The Dead Bone call may have a year warranty. But the rest of FoxPros have a 3 -5 years . Depending on model.

Thx for the comment Jeff. My recommendation was made in cost. If I’d have had my way I’d have purchased a Fusion which at the time was running $499. Me and many other people just don’t have that kind of cash to drop on a call. The Alpha dog at the time I bought it was an amazing price and continues to be a good choice for those who cannot drop even $399 now on a fox pro. I love fox pros and I have owned the intro inferno model before I lost it. 😪

Thanks for the review! It's very helpful. You mentioned being able to put a lanyard on the remote. I'd explore the idea of using rear connection point you mentioned but wrap the lanyard around the handle a couple times so that if it does come off the mount point in the field it won't go anywhere due to the lanyard. OR just wear it around your neck! :-) Thanks again!

I have the same Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries I left in this call for several years and it is still running strong. Overall I'm pretty happy with my Alpha Dogg

Nice! I had mine out in Zero degree weather yesterday and I’m starting to get some speaker distortion. I just don’t know if it’s the call itself, the cold, or low batteries.

Flexmark Outdoors I wouldn't use anything but Lithiums same as a trail cameras. Those batteries I have had in the unit for at least 5 years and sounded great and remote still paired with the unit.

Yah. If I had more $$ I’d splurge for nicer Foxpro, but as I said in the review....I got this one for under $200. Best wishes and thanks for watching.

Agreed! I bought one a few years ago and finally got time to go out more. Think I only used it three or four times total and the speakers suck! Crackle a lot and you cant get a nice volume without turning it up high, hell I cant hear it and its only 40-50 yards from me. I wish I bought something else now, I'm looking into how to swap out the speakers if it can be done or not I don't know.

Stick with Lucky Duck or Foxpro. I had two of these and they are garbage. Terrible customer service too. The ONLY thing I like from Primos are their Trigger Sticks.

Great unit. Have had one for two seasons. Worked flawlessly. Important to keep good quality batteries. Low voltage can effect speaker distortion. For moderate use we have changed out batteries once a year Great unit.

Had mine 2 years and out of nowhere my screen goes completely white 30 seconds after it’s turned on!!!

im interested in gettting one. hows the sound on it? is pretty loud? does it have any distortion when the volume is up? and will the sound hold up against wind??? where i live, it could be nice weather then all of a sudden we get 25 to 35mph winds really fast! haha! but i dont have 300 to 400 for a foxpro...thank you!

+Chapo Guzman It is the loudest call I have used. Take that for what it's worth though. I haven't used a Foxpro Shockwave or anything of that nature. For the money, this call is louder than anything else you'll buy without question. Sometimes in the very cold weather, there can be some distortion as stated in the video. But in general, very reliable and worth the money. I'd highly recommend picking one up.

does it have a wounded fawn call to attract does?

Yes, it has a fawn distress and baby fawn distress. But electronic calls are against the law for hunting big game in Idaho, so I don’t use it for that.

Kevin Lewis Hahahaha. I've been a Scoutmaster twice for the Boy Scouts of America. That was a patrol flag some 18 year old young men gave me back in return from when I was their scoutmaster years previous. So, it hangs on my wall as a reminder of the important work of building boys into men.

What decoy works good with this ?

+james ollom I have never plugged a decoy into the unit itself. But I’ve had the most success with he Mojo Critter. It has the best action IMO, is inexpensive, and reliable. They now have an improved Mojo Critter out that is more expensive but has more remote options.

warranty length and coverage?

I'm not sure but I'd suggest you buy it with a credit card that includes "idiot insurance". They will usually repair or replace something that's broken or even lost plus they usually extend the warranty buy a year.

One year from my understanding. Imported also. Fox Pro Patriot call and above that is at least 3 year warranty.
