Thanks so much for watching! You might in the future?? It's taken me over 10 years to slowly upgrade space and my wife and I can't have kids so I don't need to share the basement here 🙃 but how do you display yours? Every collection has something spwcial going for it!

Thanks so much for this great video and your detailed instructions!! I have been thinking about about using several Billy cabinets for a couple of years now rather than Detolfs. I was waiting for my basement remodel to be completed, and now that it is done it’s to get the bookshelves. My only dilemma now is whether to use the Oxberg doors or the all glass doors. I will be using these Billies to display Hot Toys figures and I am worried that even though the Oxberg doors look better, I am concerned that frame will obscure too much of my figure if I have two per “square” …what do you think?

How do you plan to light them? I like both looks. Visibility is good for two figures per square but loses a bit with more ofcourse. But I like the frame because if hides where the light strip bars are whereas glass will show figures but also be much harder to hide wires. Especially if you ever also want to run lighting like cfls to the figures or something like it! Ultimately both will be a great choice! Congrats on the upcoming basement setup!

@@TheBenThomasShow yeah you make some really good points for consideration here, I didn’t think about the frame hiding things I don’t want featured. I know I wan to use some sort of lighting but I’m not sure just yet.

Looks super clean! Did all 5 boxes of lights connect to each other and only use 1 outlet port? Or did you need all 5 plugs with an extension cord?

Thanks Natalie! The lights did not connect from one level to the next. The cord runs out the right side of the cabinet down taking up 6 plug ins. I used a large power bar to accommodate and fixed it to the wall tucked in so it can't be seen :) thanks for watching and supporting the channel. I didn't they are just screwed into studs so they couldn't move once I butted them up against each other

Does a Hot Toy fit inside the small Billys at the top?

Yes but just if they are standing straight. The downfall is the door has a frame that blocks the view. If you had figures like boba on Throne(seated figures) it would still work great
