I think it's funny how this is actually a really dark song about an alien manipulating a girl into believing that her life is worthless. (not hating on Pearl, of course). I wonder how many people end up on this video by chance and think it's an upbeat song.

I hate how much I love this. UGHHH IT'S SO GOOD.

You know you're not built for fighting/ but that doesn't mean your not prepared to try / what they dont know is your real advantage / when you love someone you're prepared to die. That pretty much sums me up. People often assume that because I have a limp, speak softly, and act politely that I'm a pushover. One of my co-workers made that mistake by screaming at me over something that wasn't my fault, but he shut up after I lost my temper and ripped a door off it's hinges.

alloutloljohn Yeah, Steven Universe (and Gravity falls, unrelatedly) seem to only get better the farther into the show you go. Trust me it gets way better later on, but you still shouldn't skip early episodes.
