To answer Jeannie’s question about the algae bloom on that lake in Ireland no, absolutely nothing native to the lake can live in an algae bloom like that it has something called cyanotoxins that kill local wildlife decently easily. Also, to address what Henry said about anything green is nutritious for you, in this case never eat the algae or the water in a lake or pond like this because it can cause you headaches, diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, dizziness, muscle weakness and sometimes even liver damage.

The algae in that lake is absorbing tons of carbon gas and mass producing O2. Which also kills everything living there. So much CO2 has been dissolved in oceans and lakes that photosynthetic microorganisms thrive and can out compete just about anything at this point.

On the topic of the Alaskan mattress: It's most likely intended for the entire family to be able to sleep together in the winter so that they can share body heat. There are a lot of people living off the grid and gathering resources is hard enough with the topography, so finding a way to save a bit of the fuel or firewood you'd be using to heat your house through an arctic winter is important.

No. It's called an Alaskan King because Alaska is big. That's it. There isn't anything more to it. The next two most common mattress sizes down are Texan King and California King. The California King I think got called that less as a size reference and more because I think it was first made there. Then after that the Texan King was crowned because it was bigger than the California King, and the Alaskan King just topped the Texas King.

In the UK we have food and health regulations that (oversimplified) mean that fast food must be under a specific sugar, fat and salt amount per 100 grams or they will be considered luxury goods and have a FAR higher tax put on them and drastically increase the price (which would negate a large portion of the sales of fast food). So American fast Food chains have had to alter their recipes, or lower their portion size, to simply be able to sell here. For example in the UK and Republic of Ireland Subway's bread is legally considered to be "cake" due to the HUGE amount of sugar in it and has the higher tax put on them, but as the cost of the sandwiches is so low (comparatively) they can afford to cover the higher cost of one ingredient.

it's not just the guys jeannie, japanese women too. it's engrained in the culture. it's because being in a relationship is a symbol of status or at least seen as one and so people who are not ready to settle down get married through pressure from family members or society and so once they are incompatible or simply get bored of one another or work crazy hours whichever that's where the cheating comes in and for them it's widely acceptable because they are disinterested in each other or see it as societally okay, some mandatory business parties are held at brothels (or so ive heard from one of these interview type videos)

not for the fact they mix harmful chemicals and unsourced and frankly unsafe oils with their products. American fast food is laced with all types of harmful and dodgy ingredients, I'm happy with my smaller and (more importantly) safer foods. The clip of the McDonald's portion sizes were H & J say "more is better" is naïve and silly in my opinion.

@sebagab9795 It just depends. There are too many factors to make objective choices. The people who prepare the food might do a bad job, the ingredients might not be good or properly put in (and more ingredients makes this easier to mess up), and the person who eats it may not have the taste that likes the ingredients used (they might like something simpler in taste or they may not just like the specific type of oil).
