Can't thank you both enough for this podcast. I have a loved one who suffers from CVS and this is the first bit of information that gives us hope for treatment.

We just need funding, funding, funding for research and medicine. We need breakthrough now. Enough of the suffering!
There are no options. My daughter has had this for 7 years & nothing works! My daughter had a 2 month episode. Vomiting with just a sip of water! She is so mentally drained! Now she is just waiting for the next episode!

Has she been diagnosed with CVS? Often times this overlaps with and/or is mistaken for underlying issues (gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia). My husband had a stroke 5+ years ago and finds himself having this issue 1-2×s a month... could the stroke have something to do with it? Where can i find a neurogastrologist?

Thank you for your comment and sharing a little of your story. We cannot provide medical advice and highly recommend you consult with your husband's healthcare provider. As for neurogastroenterologists, they can often be found at many large GI centers. Where are you located?
