Being competitive and not being an asshole are 2 separate things. You can be competitive and still be humble.

JJ, there's a difference between being competitive, and not liking someone else have the spotlight and attention. there's nothing wrong with congratulating your friend after his fights. not everything is a competition. gib makes a valid point saying before the Jake Paul fight you're supportive and there for him, now that gib is up there in the conversation with you, you changed up. you're letting your ego get in the way of your friendship. you can both boxers who respect each other and go at each other from time to time. its not always a competition. especially with day ones.

If your friend can't even tell if you're being competitive, there's a barrier that needs to be crossed. I completely understand the fake beef for promotion and boosting sales, but when your boy can't tell if you're trashing him or promoting him, it's a bit of a problem.

you can want to be competitive and want to be better than everyone, but you don't need to be a dickhead to someone who has always supported you.

The whole beard thing is actually the opposite. I did some research. Most people prefer salesmen with a beard because they feel they are more trustworthy because it shows they have experience. The fact that leaders dont have a beard is because it makes them look older than they are so they want to look younger and also because some people unconsciously relate a beard to hidding something since you cant see facial features as much
