I agree totally with everything you said under my dispatching company I like to do more than just dispatch which allows me to maximize profits. For example someone who is new to the business or whatever or if I come in contact with an on an operator who doesn't have his or her business formation set up I help them and assist them with getting their LLC set up etc As far as factoring I do use well let me rephrase that I partner or have partnered with some factoring companies that offer me as a dispatcher certain incentives. I have received fuel cards for my drivers as well as monetary compensations for bringing on drivers and getting them set up under that particular factoring company. So I do believe as a dispatcher linking up or partnering with certain factoring companies could be beneficial for yourself as a dispatcher. Just my opinion

Two major differences: recourse and non recourse factoring. If you signed up for recourse factoring and broker does not pay then factoring company will deduct money from your bank account. if you signed up for non-recourse factoring and you did business with A,B or C rated broker (RTS for example) then if broker does not pay, factoring company take the the loss.

Can you talk about some power only loads and whats the best way to do power only? PS: Buying a Step Deck or Dry van (Lease/Sale/Rent) !

As a dispatcher what is your method for finding loads for Sprinter vans? It's very difficult for myself lol even to the point where I have scaled back and only want to work with power only refers and dry vans. Another reason why I am asking is because I own a courier and transportation service here in Atlanta as well and would like to dispatch my own sprinters. I do not have MC numbers or authorities set up on them because I only plan to work under my DOT number and stay in Georgia. Any advice? I enjoy the channel by the way

Good Question, by chance did you find a way to book Sprinter Vans? I'm having the same issue.

I have couple of owner operator that I want to help book loads. So I all need is subscribe to load boards and have the carrier pay me a percentage is that it? is that the most simple way? what's the fair percent I should ask for?

That is correct. I wouldn't go under 5%.

Yes you get a commission for sending owners ops to them

If the driver have factoring, if they get paid weekly can the Dispatcher get their payment weekly through their factoring company?
