We love our AA women as well. I know it’s contrary to popular beliefs, but we want y’all, but at times it feels like we’re not compatible. We just have to take time to understand one another so that we’re able to take care of one another, and show the world that black love still exists. I’m 17 and most of my peers, male and female, think the same way as me. One nation ✊🏾💚🖤❤️‼️

I think we are too reliant on what we see in the media about AA and this has not always been a positive image. Africa is also showcased in a negative light in the West. My american hubby ......man, another story for another. I have also realised that accountability is not what is easily accepted by most AA men. I am fighting for my marriage, but its really hard when you are married to someone who has really mediocre goals. West/ Central african women don't go for looks. We go for care and Money. Our Men have been raised to take care of us. That's the strength of a man. There was this Kenyan guy whom i really like but couldn't date him because he didn't even know what matters most to me. He thought taking care of me is by cooking, massaging etc but trust me, our men don't know how to massage. That's the woman's job to him bc he does all the job. Then it's like i need to tell him what i need😳. Boy, as soon as i complain to the West African man that im bored and i'm going to watch TV in a neighbor's home, he knows my problem is TV. Two weeks or a month, he will bring the TV to my home without me asking him to buy a TV for. If he doesn't do that, i know at ones he is a stingy man. That's West/Central African love. If an AA masters this trick, he is good to go with us. We want Men not not Mommy's sons😂. One Love❤

SISTA if you only knew. We deeply love women from African countries. Not only are they extremely intelligent, they've the beauty to match and don't feel intimidated. They're just them. We love our African American women here, too becausethe qualities are the same, but our women here have been through so much due to the negative environment here in the States. Sistas from Africa just give off a different vibe....I'm sure they've their challenges. It's a different culture and conversation. In the end, I love all of my women of African descent and Continental Africa. I don't discriminate. The Black Woman is the most majestic human being on the 🌎. That's why if we can get them straight from the continent, over here we freeze, over there we melt. Black women are powerful, and those Sistas from Africa just have a different type of power. I myself a mentally strong man, can handle the strength and differences on both sides of the pond. Power to the Sistas 🌎 wide...❤

Well I’m sorry to hear that. Many African Americans feel that our brothers and sisters from the Continent look down or don’t want to relate to us. I feel that’s a level of disrespect. When I lived in Kenya I didn’t waste time trying to find African Americans, why would I do that? I don’t want to replicate America in Africa, I want to meet and learn from the population of locals. You will never understand us if you do t talk to us. And it’s a shame that you as an African with different cultures than the African community because we know a Kenyan is very different from a Nigerian or a Zimbabwean, but you don’t want to use that logic with African Americans. In fact when I lived in Kenya, Kenyans didn’t even get a long with fellow Kenyans and based associations on tribe. Good luck in America, but open your mind to your brothers African Americans!!

She was being too nice. The media doesn't portray Black Americans well at all. But I'm glad you get to tell your story coop. You represent black Americans very well! I love your intro... I always sing along.

I don’t think so. The media holds an AA in the middle of two narratives. There are both sides of the coin. Some great individuals in black liberation and emancipation, such as Du Bois, Martin Luther Jnr, Malcolm X, etc-motivation to the independence of most African countries. Sports and entertainment, which is dominated by AA is a great influence on Africa, Mohammed Ali, Denzel Washington, Mike Jordan, Jay-Z, etc. However, the media too presents the gangsta and crime side, without explaining the underlying historical factors.

She cute as hell. I lived in Kenya for 5 years. Like my second home. The one thing you should never do as an American is eat street food in Nairobi. Our stomachs aren’t made for it. Also hygiene issues can be a bit of a concern. You can have authentic Kenyan Foods without having the street foods. Keep up the good work bro !!

Mostly AA are portrayed as full of themselves, full of pride, boastful look down on Africans etc... Majority of them are not open minded, less travelers to Africa. . Just my observations

Have you looked at how African-Americans view Africans? It’s always two-sides to every coin. 🪙
