Not assuming Daniel & Andre had this intention at all. But it was so beautiful to see this song interpreted through a male friendship. In general men seem to have a hard time expressing true love for each other - I felt like this piece was them sharing the journey of their love & connection through friendship & how hard it can be to express it honestly 🥹💕

When they were in our studio/office on shoot day, they were giggling, chatting, but most of all I noticed they used so much physical touch with each other. Hand on the other’s back while talking to them. A light shake on the other’s leg when getting their attention. You can see how secure they are in themselves and their relations through their little interactions ❤️ friendship is beautiful

@@steezystudio I can definitely agree, just by seeing them in the video and not in the studio itself you can really see the power and trust in their friendship. And its so rae these days so i was just taken aback by their connection and how they conveyed their feelings and connection through their dance. Its beautiful to see 🤗

100% that is exactly what I thought. Usually there may be one pairing that isn't as strong but these 3 pairings were ALL so great and captivating. ❤

Everyone was exceptional. It's amazing to see the difference in interpretation of the same song... I did not expect that from Daniel and Andre, they were so goofy but their piece was really profound. I loved it all.

Literally teared up in this coffee shop watching them.

Omg! The first pair, I LOVED the contemporary piece and the way they told the story, literally had me in TEARS! SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL 😍...The last pair THO👀👀👀 SO POWERFUL AND MOVING. I Love how they brought "B-Boy Softness"😂 like they transformed hard hit movements into softness! That was amazing and the way they told the story as friends and not lovers. Omg, the tears are just falling. I definitely enjoyed the different aspects of the second pair how they danced separate styles to the same section of a song. This is one of my favorite "emotional" songs, and it was GIVING JUSTICE!!!!❤❤❤❤

I was wondering why the song sounded familiar 😭

The way the Dandre put that piece together - even if there were no words to the song you wouldn’t have to guess. Pure art gold. To be able to choreograph a piece like that, perfection. Btw, all of the choreographers were beautiful but the last pair were just, wow.

Exactly, a great dance should be able to tell that kind of story with no music & yet the message comes across to the audience - they freaking nailed that 🙌

I think part of what made Daniel/Andre's dance so much more interesting to me was the contrast between spacing/orientation/pacing they had. They weren't afraid to create focal points and areas of rest, and then to sync up again etc. That's a highly advanced level in design- and it also applies to dance~

That last one!!!!! Had me tearing up. And the other dancers didn't mention the story. The way one was chasing the other, taking on so much then it reversing at the end only for them to separate and for the original chaser to stand alone. Yo. And the movement, musicality. Fucking amazing.

Daniel & Andre took this song to a place that I couldn't imagine. So unexpected and beautiful at the same time.

not gonna lie, that last performance needs an award or something.

Daniel and Andre’s performance was so powerful because of those moments of intimacy but also the synchronicity. I love that they’re best friends because it was a new barrier broken for men and showing vulnerability

I love how everyone was telling a story in their choreography... LOVED IT 😍🤧

The first group had the sensualness but soulfulness in their dance that would make you think they were some way romantically involved and I think that’s the good thing with dancing and being able to interpret the song you’re dancing to and showing emotion that the viewers can feel

Dandre gave a whole goddamn story, the emotion, how natural it looked, and how talented the boys are OMG

This was the best one so far for me. I loved all the dances and the way they brought the song out with there type of love with their dance partners. The song it's self is one of those that can easy pull out the feelings and everyone took it and ran with it.

All the dancers were truly astounding, I can't even rank the dances!

Wow, those two young men surprised me... the emotional intelligence and beauty in their movements and choreography, what they were able to convey was really stunning and powerful. Really truly Kudos. Thank you.

this most definitely felt like a video of strong beginnings. I got goosebumps each time when one the pairs had their unique dramatic moment at the start. how beautiful being captivated from the very first few seconds by each team.

I mean... Madison always an amazing mover, love watching her and with Derion just wow!! but I gotta give it to Dandre!! They completely killed that choreo!! especially for something out of their norm.. this was so emotional and entertaining to watch!!

I always start crying while watching 10:02. That part really hits. Andre and Daniel choreographed and performed this song beautifully.

I am literally in tears right now, Daniel and Andre’s was by far the best even thought the others were amazing as well. It was a perfect depiction of a give and take relationship, how you push each other to do better and your there for one another when you fall. Through heart breaks, failure, and success. Wow, I can just keep going on and on. Hit me deep.

Everybody’s was so gorgeous! This episode was amazing. I was ‘enchanted’✨ay, and captivated by every one. I loved the way Daniel and Andre told a story. The shapes and moving pictures they created were so vivid and the way they adapted their style to this song was so incredibly dynamic and cool. Everyone had such a beautiful take on the song. This is my first time seeing Dandre perform and I was just blown away. Also, rest in peace, Bobby Caldwell.

I came into this expecting to love Derion & Maddy based on the video intro snipped that youtube provided me. And I did. But I didn't expect to love Daniel & Andre's choreography even more! Their flow is amazing and somehow they blend that smooth flow with pinpoint precision. Then the way they transition from flow to absolute stillness is so impactful. And even when they are not doing the exact same movement, they match each other's energy & intensity. Incredible performance & I hope to see more from them!

This was amazing. With the first pair, I loved how it was shot and her body movement and his control are insane- I never would have imagined she was sat on his back like that. It was a really powerful way to start and I love how they stayed connected throughout. I love the floor work of the second pair as well, it was really engaging and pulled you in. It was really fluid in a way that stayed connected even though they were dancing separately sometimes with what felt like their own style. Daniel and Andre were my favourite though because I think you really got a sense of their dance style, which is somehow faster paced than the others and I loved how dynamic their movements were even to a song like this. Favourite moment is when one of them chases the other to the lyric "You tried everything but you won't give up". That was a really powerful play on the lyrics

Im watching this for the like 8th time, been a few weeks and each dance makes me well with emotion. For two staight men to deliver such a power intimate piece was so amazing and touching. It speaks to their friendship.

Wow 😅 at first I was a little embarrassed that I started crying during the last dance but after coming to the comment section I see I'm not alone lol

Daniel and Andrea are literally just extensions of one another in this dance it is absolutely insane

Anybody else need to see that video of the football players running past them being confused as hell? Also, paradoxically, I feel like practicing in public on a busy football field with a bunch of distractions actually helped them make their connection in the dance stronger.

Derion and Maddy's piece felt as if there was an invisible hand molding images out of clay. LOVED the piece...I wish they did not disconnect contact at all, even if it were just for a second during those two moves. But overall I truly loved watching it. As a dancer myself, when I watch dance I tend to watch for choreography and technique, this is one of those RARE pieces I watch solely through an artistic lens. BEAUTIFUL!

This was probably the first video where I couldn't pick a clear favorite. Every single choreography was the best I'd ever seen 😮
