i classify upgrade kits into two catagories: display enhancements and owner enhancements. this falls into the latter - the only person who will really notice is the owner, but if i had this figure, the upgrades made would make me very happy.

Finally. This set has taken a million years to come out.

Bigbadtoystore has a bundle of shockwave and scavenger for $100 it’s a great deal

Here the real issue is the price, at TF source its $24+ shipping so maybe around $30 or less still pricey accessory. I find it more appealing if it was $15 which I think its spot on.

Man this figure was JUST AWESOME!!! and the upgrade kit is also awesome!! Great video mate!!

Yeah, this set has no reason to be so expensive.

This is why I’m happy I got the Zeus Toys Shockwave. Essentially everything this kit does PLUS has LEDS in the eyes. Got him for around £70 and it was one of the good 2nd wave version

Woah why haven’t i seen this figure before, i do hate this design for shockwave in the movie but the way hasbro made it into a figure is very cool, its very accurate to the film and DNA design made it even better

In the second half of the review you can see the red marks on your hand from trying so hard to reattach the rubber hose! I'm not looking forward to that part. I hope mine ships soon as I'm sticking with my BBTS order for these DNA kits.

One more thing that I think DNA could add is pieces that bulk up the biceps, to be more movie accurate, and maybe even a slightly bigger head, with even some of the moving parts, but I’m not 100% sure. But I also think more stable heels would help too.

My set just arrived in the mail and I am quite happy with it. If I had one big issue it’s that there is only 3 pieces you’re getting and maybe if there was a White Shockwave head that would be compatible to SS Nitro Zeus (KSI boss) I would feel that is a better deal

Love This Reveiw

I bought this for the new left hand, but realistically I'm not overly worried about the lifespan of the rubber bits. I still have the OG DOTM Shockwave and the rubber hose is perfectly fine. That being said it isn't like i can tell one piece of black rubber from another.

If there's any additional nitpick I'd like to add from the review, I would've loved to see a cannonless right arm (I believe there are transparent promo images of that; or maybe those are edits); it would've better justified the cost IMO. Other than that, it's decent enough, however.

Yeah man, this kit is really nice and definitely improves the figure. That said foot upgrades would of been nice...

If I remove the pin on the left hand wrist, do you think the hands can be swapped so that you can keep the original left arm but with the more articulated DNA hand?

In regards to the left hand, can you remove the hand from the mushroom peg on both the upgrade hand and the regular hand, and then put the new hand on the old arm?

Well it's about time! I just wish they could have done more, like better paint detail, and a right normal arm for once!

Just got mine, and I gotta say... I love it! Its absolutely overpriced, but it's almost a necessary upgrade when it comes to my collection lol

It depends on how you store them. I always keep my room around 68-72 (room temp) and I’ve never had any issues
