Just to be clear, I am not complaining about DMZ being so hostile now. I was just stating my observations. I’ve always preached that there is no right or wrong way to play DMZ. DMZ is a sandbox game and you can play however you want.

Do you think separate servers would fix the issue? Like a server dedicated to only doing mission clears or PVP exclusive servers? I feel like in a lot of ways it's a better version of a battle Royale but some of us (me especially) are so behind on missions because of the 9-5 life we are just super far behind, and can't get things done with pvp. Do you think battlefield style servers would help?

I truly loved playing DMZ, the challenge the suspense of exifiling. So sad they didn’t update it again, my buddies and I had so much fun playing it.

1 person can't get away from 4 man squad plus killstreaks and there are 3 of them out there

People are making bee lines for hunt contracts and rushing spawns every round. As a solo getting griefed by 3-4 mans is getting old. Being told you suck after getting killed as a solo by a 4 man is becoming the norm. These people can’t hang in warzone so they come to dmz

The guy in the beginning said "if you guys pick me up, I can get you a hundred of whatever you want." They 100% were gonna use the disguise glitch to duplicate a hundred UAVs + other killstreaks at the buy station. Glad y'all took them out!

@@brandontalley4288 But they didn't remove the disguise. I found one in the locked cartel warehouse at Hafid Port in my last game. They just seem to be alot rarer to find.

if my random mates gonna look for the hunting kill and they die they can stay there whole. its for such people like this i waste 1 year try to complete all my own mission. DMZ was by far my favorite COD gamemode, stopped playing it like 2 weeks ago because it became too sweaty, no more friendly or noce interactions. Before mw3 released you could ask someone to do a bare knuckle fight and they would agree, now there is no chance someone seriously agrees with you.

I think what I liked best was when things were friendlier, I could drop in solo when my friends were busy and find people in the area to team up with or save others who got knocked. Even when I last played a week ago, if I see players, I don't shoot. I mind my business. I don't go hunting teams like this video, I even tell other teams on chat that I'm friendly and just trying to have a good time and most just respect that.

I remember teaming up as a 5 man squad and while extracting we added a 6th man just so he could exfil with us. ah the good old days when dmz was more chill

It's gotten worst getting back on. I tried to help and rescue operators only to be down but a whole squad. The current state of DMZ is turning into Battle Royale. Can't do mission without being snipe from a distance or by spawn.

It definetly makes it fun I think! You just can't trust anyone that shoots first. Love this game mode as there is no other extraction shooter or survival with controller support so I always come back!

I heard that COD is making a separate mode for the “covert extraction” and weapon case features rather than putting it in BR. New version of DMZ could be coming soon?

Far too optimistic, knowing activision, their pride won't allow them to go back on what they've said. If there is a new mode, it'll just be warzone with covert extraction as the focus.

here's what I've been saying DMZ is not for PVE anymore role-play missions anymore the people who play are really bad at war zone and they know there's easy kills to get there reason why people are still trying to do the missions

If pvp wasnt what u should be doing in dmz then y is it a thing 🤔 o right, its because pvp is part of it. I played dmz b4 even playing warzone and didnt care 4 the mission part but 4 the insured slots. Mw2 was the first cod i played since WaW and i was still decent in multi-player and warzone

​@brandontalley4288 PvP is more than half of DMZ now. Calling it "part" of the game is sugar coating the issue. If you're not amazing at PvP, even the most trivial missions are automatically much harder if not impossible.

@@dillonc7955 they should've added an offline DMZ mode and I've said this since it came out. Imagine being able to actually play the damn game with a consistent level of difficulty instead of your capability of actually playing the game relying on people who play 24/7

I miss dmz wish they would integrate it to mw3 with the movement and mw3 guns would be so fun maybe one day

Is it just me or is the AI extremely aggressive now? I haven’t taken any breaks from this game mode outside of a few days here and there but my god it feels like every AI soldier within 200m of my location locks on to me with pin point accuracy 😅

I’d like to encourage players to do more social things in DMZ via chat. Imagine getting everyone to ride the train or gathering at high rise for base jumping. All squads bring as many vehicles as possible to the dunes for a race around Al Mazrah.

Until they do a mission reset, it's gonna be pvp focused... Most of the players still playing are pretty much done with everything

i have missions like extract with 6 players and shit very hard to do with no 6 squad

I hope In the future cod games dmz comes back since this was one if not one of the best game modes ever made

If you're finding DMZ to be a bit too hard or if you're starting out I hightly recommend you play in Vondel before going into Al Mazrah. Its quick and easy looting, the building are cramped together with low visibility which kills snipers, and there's normally only two or three teams at a time. Only downsides are the AI can get extremely aggressive at times and the teams that do drop in run shotguns that oneshot anything under two plates 😅

If they make dmz 2.0 they need to up the terrain and weather, like have a desert wasteland section as well as snow section and a raining section etc. And a forest terrain like mw3 estate, i think it be real cool to expierence that.

@@ON1Cit’s definitely changed! I run solo all the time now because randoms always just want to spawn push. Unfortunately I’m at missions where it’s very tough for a solo, casual, player to complete. I could really use your and @Bron1c help completing a few! No gamer words I swear!

I did the heated madness mostly solo or with one friend, I enter the complex just about 5 mins before gas spreads haven't encountered any players down there by that time

Onyx maybe you can tell me and maybe you can give me a good answer on this question that I have dead drops in DMZ the dead drops say for instance you have a lot of cash and you did drop the cash what the what does a cash do and where does it go and weaponry what happens to the weapons that you did drop does it go into your stash of weapons or does it does the cash go into your wallet what happens to it I would really appreciate you to answer the question because I'm playing DMZ and I don't know what to do with the cash

Why did you use your 2nd account to play dmz?

The reason I download the game back is because DMZ. I just wanna complain 1 thing. Why would the game close and reopen when I click DMZ? It's like opening the front door just to enter it again and go to the toilet. And then exit and enter again just to go to your room. Isn't it so much work to do?

DMZ is just about pvp no more missions anymore as nobody cares. I was killed yesterday by a koschei camper who waited for a prey at the final exfil so nasty.

I mostly stopped playing because both my controllers got horrendous stick drift. This is mostly what I imagined what would happen when MW3 Came out.

Adjust your stick sensitivity in the “controller” section of MW2 settings. Just bump up the sensitivity until your stick drift is gone or minimal. If you leave your left stick slightly, SLIGHTLY, drift it helps keep your aim assist enabled.

@@anotherHelldiver I lead you astray. I didn’t mean the sensitivity, I meant the deadzone. Go to your settings, controller, advanced, inputs deadzone and raise your left and/or right stick higher until your drift is manageable

It is fantastically fun and this is from someone that was killed by ON1C recently.

DMZ should have carried over to MW3. Here I am playing it even now, and not missing MW3 at all. Even with the pvp. It is still a much better experience over all compared to MW3's Warzone, and multiplayer in general. Keep at it ON1C. Maybe one day we'll run into each other.
