I think if you are caught cheating it should be a permanent ban . Plus any account creation from that ip address should be automatically declined. That’s how you get rid of cheaters

Your IP address changes every time you reboot your modem / router. So it just wouldn’t work like that. Good idea but in practice it would just not work. They do hardware ID bans and even then they’re spoofing their hardware ID to get around it 😞

@@jawadbakhshi31 Yeah that’s the thing, it’s not that difficult to grasp too. Even a lot of the PvP type missions can be done without PvP too. That being said, a lot of people are just clueless about the game mode in general. I came across a player today who said I was cheating because I put in the match chat exactly where they were - they didn’t realise that a dog tag tracks their movements (he killed an AFK teammate) 😂

Same shite happened on vondel. I start in a heavy fog match, literally 10 secs tops since the start my squad is getting sniped, again during a hunt squad contract. I had a scuba mask and rebreather, and no way they new where i was under water. The ass hat swims in after me, again underwater this whole time, and beats me to death. After surviving their contract. Even worse is we didn't get a UAV after surviving the count down.

I think the player must have wiped the server by himself and I was the only one left along with another team. Every time I peaked, I was shot at instantly, he should not have known I was anywhere near that ship too 😂

i agree not only does it take too lonng to kick the cheaters it shows that its not detecting the cheats but rather analyzing the behaviors which i guess is a good thing since now people use two computers to try to go undetected by software cheat scanners. Thing is though the good cheaters know how to make it look like their not cheating and that is much harder to detect. From what im told its almost impossible to detect a two computer cheat system unless you make it super obvious like this player did that your cheating. I know for facts i have been killed by cheaters and they werent kicked, ive actually never once seen that richochet message pop up ever except here so i think its likely very rare to see it working like you did here. What i really wonder about is if they actually look into the reports because i know when i report toxic players who use hate speech and stuff during game play they do literally nothing about it.

They see a skeleton line, which appears wherever, through buildings, water, walls etc, which is why they’re called “wall hacks”. They still see the player skin too. It’s actually not a very far distance shot to hit really. I regularly hit 400+ metre snipes. But the telling sign is when they shouldn’t know where you are and as soon as you’re not in cover, you’re hit with a headshot, it’s a bit dodgy and clear sign of cheating. The anti cheat removed them from the game, don’t tend to see cheaters in DMZ usually too.

This game is rife with cheaters, using all kinds of mods, although most would never admit to it if you call them out, one in particular is how on earth do players manage to move so fast on maps, I've tried just about every combination and I'm dammed if I can do it, plus those who are able to jump so high all the time,I'm guessing it's mods.

That's happened to me exact spot so many times I've had a game where I was literally followed the entire match I circled the whole island still shouldn't shack them now I got a good feeling why

He did get kills on the beach whilst I was in the water. Literally as soon as I peaked, I was down to 1HP with one shot, with zero indication that I was on that boat too. I just played it smart, to just avoid being shot at and then was able to just continue with my game when ricochet removed him from the game, I think I was in the lobby with only one other team then too. I’ve only seen 4 blatant cheaters on DMZ, but you’ve gotta be a special kind of person to cheat on a game mode like this 😂

U get banned in this game for foul language but the game itself kicks out some shocking words itself There’s more cheaters in this game than actual players, it’s no good all the good guys just saying there good players, the streamers cheat or exploit the public just copy

I think anyone that’s said they’ve been banned for simply swearing is telling porkies, massive porkies. Likely some kind of slur or abuse mixed in with that tbh. I don’t think there are more cheaters than actual players as it would be unplayable tbh. If you compare it to Verdansk, the cheating issue is minimal in comparison. They still have a long way to go. The major issue for me is you get someone seeing some basic keyboard and mouse play and instantly think it is cheating, because they have never used keyboard and mouse before. I think that lobbies should be separated by input device, so KBM vs KMB and controller vs controller. My content is aimed at the average / casual player, but the irony is, it is not as exciting as the others, who people then say are cheating. So they watch them for the high kills etc but then call them cheaters 🤦‍♂️ I have only come across a handful of cheaters in DMZ thankfully, I stopped playing BR because of the issue with cheaters, even if it was nowhere near as bad as a few years ago. Sorry for the long reply, I type fast 😂

@@OversizedGhilly hey bud firstly i wanna say i think we are friends on dmz i go by warzone warlord on there. And also i wanted to add a comment on the whole seperating controller and keyboard players. I agree with you on that but i also would add to that that i think they also should seperate whose on the map based on experience and rank. Putting level 1250 players on the same game and map as a level 1 player is just dumb i think. I also feel like despite me myself being both a pc and cloud gaming user i feel pc players have a huge unfair advantage in this game over console players due to many reasons but mostly due to the fact that consoles limit the refresh rates and fps way more then a high end gaming pc with a high end graphics card would do. When you have literally a quarter of the latency of a console player that just doesnt seem fair to be pitting them up against one another. The fact about that though is that if they made pc players play with only other pc players then there would be a mix between a ton of cheaters and very few lower level players to match other lower level players up with so i have a feeling you would be waiting for a long time even longer then it currently is to get into a match. But it still goes without saying there are advantages and there are cheaters they are two different things entirely and many times people mistake skill for cheating and advantages for unfair play.

Just another reason to stop allowing pc to do games and limit them to console only. Cheaters ruin games for so many people. But it will never happen cause the good hacks that bypass anti cheat make to much money off of people

I am more pissed off that as a PC player when I turn crossplay on I am still forced to play against controller players on PC.. there's same issue on ps5 what is the point of crossplay OFF if one is still forced to play against players who run a dif input device.

Dude, this is all in your head. They could follow you with a spotter scope, which is very easily done with thermal on. And they were not banned, the cluster mine has a glitch where it automatically goes off in 3-5 min.

I'm not sure what Ricochet means. Is that some kind of COD cheat detection software? It was kind of crazy how they were tracking you and hitting shots. Spotter scope should pick you up even if you're ghosted. But thermal won't if you're cold-blooded. So they'd have to be able to predict where you surface and have the scope zoomed in and spot you then quickly switch to sniper and hit shots. Very unlikely and way too much work when one should worry what's going on around them then at the edge of the map lol
