    I grew up in creel...still have lots of family.... I'm happy to see you had a nice time to town is small, and it's run by the narcos, if you mind your business and just go through you can have a decent time but you're right about the food in the restaurants...gotta hit the small local joints.

    April of 2005 rode my dual sport to Batopilas and stopped in Creel. Great trip. The ride down into the canyon was shaky. Steep one lane, loose dirt and no guard rails. Gotta get back to Mexico. I also almost bought a ST1300 but backed out when the windshield didn’t work and got me a used Triumph Trophy. Holler if you ever near Southeastern Oklahoma or Western Arkansas. Keep up the good work!

  • @dirtymotorcyclevagabond

    @dirtymotorcyclevagabond

    I'd done quite a bit of that when I'd first come down, which I intend to talk about soon in the proceeding videos... It's always been fine, but for peace of mind and convenience I'll usually seek out a hotel. They're affordable and doing so saves the hassle of riding around looking for a place.

    @@dirtymotorcyclevagabond yeah, actually I used to work a short walk away from where they made fires all winter and boiled seawater for salt. It's a beautiful place in the summer, but the winters... Let's just say I don't work in Seaside, OR anymore. Any additional info would be fantastic, either spoken or written. I've been walking the line at work and have been strongly considering walking away. I've also considered retiring to MX for a few years now. Fair weathered MC exploration of MX is really enticing!

    Love the videos. I’m subscribed. I have two questions what about Montezuma‘s revenge if you drink the water. People say you can’t avoid it, it’s in the air and you just have to adapt to it over time I see you’re riding a Honda 1300 ST. I went with cash to buy one of these bikes on an 80° day. I ended up not buying it even though it was a good deal low miles original owner lots of extras because of the heat coming off of that radiator on my legs. It was actually the hottest Air coming onto my legs off of the radiator of any motorcycle I ever tested...

  • @dirtymotorcyclevagabond

    Lmao, yup. It happens. Trouble with me is I'm always adapting and going back and forth. The US will mess you up too after a long stint in another country. That's true about the ST. They get hotter than a black cat on asphalt. Actually pretty annoying. But I just got a saddlemen seat which places the riding pos back a bit. I have a feeling it'll help.
