Hey guys! I took my test today, it was very freckin easy! I passed :) unfortunately they didn’t take me on this route but they did take me on another which there is a video where they exactly took me. If you search Alma dmv route this video and another should show up. The one where they are following the other driver. That’s the exact route I took. Hope this helps :) Just stay calm and go for it.

I took this route just today and passed it after failing 3 times with the different route (the one way route). I was unfamiliar taking this route for the first time but I would say this is the easier route if the examiner takes you this route. I was really nervous but I managed to pass. If I can do it, you can too!

Today I took mine on this route. I passed! Thank you for your video!

Finally took the test today (Aug 2021) at San Jose DMV - Alma. I passed. This was exactly my route. Thanks a lot everyone! And good luck!

@@Ninaluera58117 You have to park by the curb and back up without hitting the curb for about 3 car lengths. When you’re done with the test, you have to park at the DMV. That’s all.

I took the test today and it is almost the same thing. The only difference is I pulled over and did the reverse at the red fence. Thank you and thank you for your video. I passed the test because of your video.

I took this route 3 weeks ago and passed! Tip: don’t get nervous, it’ll go by quick!!:) goodluck !!

how did you take that right turn at the start of the video? are you supposed to turn all the way into the right lane first then lane change or just straight into the left lane?

I have my driving test here on Monday lmao update: i passed with 0 errors. my instructor was rlly nice and chill. my advice for ppl is to just stay calm. it’s way easier than you think

Did they ask you to parallel park? And do you turn your four ways on when they ask you to stop at the side of the road and then reverse?

I did not parallel park and yes I turned on 4 way road. I did do pull to the curb and reverse back also

I took the test today and had the exact same route. Backing portion was a slightly different area. Instructor was extremely nice. Drive calmly and in no hurry. Watch for traffic before right turns on busy streets like alma . Follow speed limits. All the best!

Passed with only 4 points off. SUPER easy and had a really cool instructor.

Have to take this tomorrow but during Covid. Why didn’t you go to your right utmost lane when turning right at the beginning

No I didn't have to.

That car in front that stopped doesn't have flashers.. 😡 and it didn't stop at the stop sign first before proceeding. What a good example for those who are taking behind the wheel test... I don't know how that driver in that car passed. Tsssk!!!! And they expect us to be perfect at critical situations.. tskk!

I think they only have two routes. Because I have looked on KZread and these are the two routes I've found

Claire Schie i asked him if he’d like me to pass it after I had fully stopped the car. He said lets just wait for a few. I’m not sure if its a fail cause I did have my license. Did you read somewhere that thats a fail?

Not exactly parallel parking, but you do have to pull over then back up a little.

It really depends on how crowded the road is the test day. But to me it's pretty easy, just relax, consider it a training session, drive with the right speed, observe before making any lane change or turn. To be honest, I took the test with a "failing is not a big deal" attitude, that relieves me from the stress.

I was practicing for a 3 days already and I’ve been driving on the outer routes that they posted on KZread and yours and I’m checking my blind spots and turning my head so I’m aware. My test on a Friday, I am going to practice for 3 more days
