the game is a million times more better than the anime. You miss out on so much crucial information in the anime. In the Visual Novel u get around 40 hours of the entire game with all endings completed.

Aoba… let me comfort you please..! It pains me to see this..! I’ve watched both the anime and play throughs of the visual novel, so I’m a big DMMD fan But that’s besides the point, Aoba never deserved this torment..! I’m literally tearing up just thinking about the in-game bad endings and then seeing the anime versions of them..! And whenever Trip and Virus appear, I want to end them in the worst ways humanly possible! They don’t deserve to breathe! And… now I’m rage ranting again… goddamnit… 😓

(interpretation from a rowdy English Major) I guess he's called that in the Koujaku bad ending because there is something so innocent but intimidating about Shiroba. Not to mention, the color white symbolizes purity, chastity, youth and all, but it also symbolizes death, persecution, *MENTAL ILLNESS* (take that in mind) and the color most used to make certain colors pop out like red and black. White has this very "foreshadowing" thingy. Where it's quite a clean color to see, and pleases the eye, but it can be too bright and can cause epilepsy and even trigger other *mental disorders* , You know who fits these descriptions? Shiroba! White, like I said symbolizes death as well. "Death" in Korea and Japan, where I live, is metaphorized as a new beginning, *CHANGE OF HEART* or metanoia (that one too) , or general change that is drastic and *DRAMATIC* . You know who can change anything, even people? That's right, Shiroba! Ok now if that doesn't work out for you, let's talk about 葉 (bā), or leaf. This appears in Shiroba's old identity, Aoba (青葉/blue leaf dammit) This is a hefty euphemism of a word. Leaf is usually what you call a prostitute, either male or female in the Edo period up to the 1920's. Leaf is also what you call little girls or boys *who are very naive or childish* , in the Criminal World, Leaf is a sex slave. Leaf, the one used for DMMD, is someone so good at deception and changing things, that the possibility of uncovering a lie is "as thin as a leaf". And guess who's the guy? Aoba of course. Ok ok I went overboard wtf is with me.

I think it's because he broke his friend's minds (Luckily, Sly was giving him a glimpse of that and doesn't actually happen in the anime) and is just getting punished for it, but he suffered even before he saw all that, and Trip and Virus hurting him was just uncalled for and just unforgivable! I just want to plunge a knife into those two for hurting my gay cinnamon roll!

He's not. It's based on game so this ova included all the bad endings. They couldn't animate good endings because of routes. This was basically fan service.
