This guy is super precise. He is technically gifted and Even his counters are to the point. Dismantles the opponent slow and steady.
I watch this a few times.... He's Wow..... Blessings Young King.
My focus is always on his feet. Love his footwork.

Excellent work-rate for a Light heavyweight! One of my favorite boxers to watch. If you cannot knock Dmitry out, you are most likely going to lose by knockout or a Unanimous Decision. Ask Joe Smith....

A very unique style, subtle counters, quick and and out, taking angles and timing his punches as defense. Excellent punch selection and precision! I want him to unify and compete. Would love to see him with more experience against canelo... Very similar size and with time him and canelo would makes for an interesting fight!

Indeed, the fight happened and was very interesting. Canelo developed an unorthodox defense tactic by using his face to block punches.

@@SR-fs2fd He actually has his own paint by numbers show on PBS and even perms his hair like Bob Ross for the episodes. He doesn't have Bob's soothing voice, but he is still pretty good with an easel and brush.
Amazing boxer. I think he will beat Beterbiev. However, Bivol still needs to be careful.. if he gets wobbled by Beterbiev, he still could lose against Beterbiev's power.

A Relentless Puncher!
With most of these tomato cans, it would've been no different watching Bivol work the heavy bag for 7 or 8 rounds. That being said, I'm impressed with his craftsmanship as a boxer--very precise with his punches, always measured, balanced, mindful and ntent, and even against these lumpy potatobags he's very responsible with his defense--and as such, I like his chances against Canelo. Should be a memorable contest.

It was a memorable contest but also a one-sided battle. Credit the ringside judges, they almost robbed Dmitry.
D.V makes it look easy.
Those merciless beatdowns remind me of Aaron Pryor.

I told a couple of people that they should bet on Bivol against Canelo. Nobody believed me. Canelo vs. Bivol was one of the very few times when I thought the underdog would win convincingly. I thought it was crazy that Canelo even took this fight. He definitely got my respect for that. I thought it was a stylistic nightmare, against a bigger man, that he stood very little chance of winning. I think I was right.
Dmitry Bivol looks like the Great, Great, Great, Great.........Great Grandson of Genghis Khan.
This guy should go against berterbiev and winner gets slept by canelo

Why these guys are overmatched lol..i can see all punches he throws. I have seen many Canelo opponents i cant follow punches from many of them. Also no head movement from Bivol. Canelo is likin his lips.

juan gonzalez Yeah that’s in middleweight where the opponents are 150-160, not 175+ where punches start to slow down a bit. That would be like me comparing Tyson Fury to Manny Pacquiao. Different weight class different body types. Bivol looks strong

Bivol is like Plant. He's ok against mediocre fighters but once he gets in the ring with Cannolo it will be lights out for Russian. Cannolo already knows he can beat him easily.

If i exclude the heavy weight division wich is realy eciting at this time (Fury Joshua Wilder Usyk) the fight i'd like to watch in other divisions is the one b/w Beterbiev & Bivol although i believe Betterbiev would win it, i still believe Bivol would prove to be his most challenging opponent I'd also like to see Canelo in a "fair fight" against either of those boxers but there's been to much BS involving judges in Canelo's fights in the last couple of years so i don't believe a "fair fight" involving Canelo will be possible for quite some time & i'm sick of watching fixed fights it's boring

I don't see this guy can beat Canelo, I see he has no technic, just throwing a lot of punches, also he has no power punches. He hits his opponent so many time that obviously he has to knock them out. Canelo is very smart in picking this guy after Plant. I don't see any boxing skill beside throwing so much punches.

Bivol is technically a smart boxer,good footwork,great defence,extremely fit But he lacks the power in his punchs,the Mexican King p4p will get his ko with his body punchs to the liver then up to the body,Bivol targets the head hardly any body punchs!

@@kennethchong2813 it's gonna be a great fight. I think Canelo's keys will be ring IQ, body shots, & pressure, and experience will get him the win, and maybe even a stoppage. Bivol does have good skills, but hes never face someone like Canelo & he's levels above. Canelo showed he could through power punches all fight, and he doesn't waste many punches
