Dmitri Pokrovsky Ensemble - Porushka

Музыка

a communal dance song primarily sung at the time of the Summer Solstice. The whole village would move through the streets singing this erotic song about love. From the album The Wild Field

This is truly World Music....not electronica/dance, or hip hop/rap. Absolutely fantastic harmonies. What a passion for life!

If I recall correctly, Peter Gabriel mixed this piece into the bridge of his song 'Come Talk To Me'. They're credited in the liner notes of the album.

i find this to be good music.. GOOD, you know, compassionate, even healing perhaps. good like russians can be good, not being parsimonious with it.

This is not an "erotic" song. It's a love song, but fairly basic song.
