I expect the ingeniousness of this moment 4:25 to be lost to most, so I'll explain. Griffon and Shadow have a limit to how far away they can be from V; they will teleport back to V if the target is past a certain distance. There's a caveat though: Putting Griffon and Shadow in DT will make them attack automatically (on top of increasing their speed, defense, damage and making them unable to heal) while removing their range limit. Since Koudai-san had Nightmare out here though, they can't get damaged anyway, and since all of them are automatic, and V is in a long taunt, he might not have even been pressing anything! Regardless, I'm very glad to see you playing V. He's very underrepresented and I hope I can see you put out more stuff with him in the future!

I may retract the nightmare immediately depending on the situation, and if I run out of DT and the nightmare disappears, I can recover DT faster if I have read the book beforehand. (2:15/5:55)

It will slow the rate at which DT is depleted by Nightmare down. Getting on Nightmare will slow it down significantly too, while using its laser will deplete it directly.
