5 years on, still an Elite tune 🙌🏻
Every so often a band comes along which grips you and every one knows why but can't quite explain it, Stone Roses, Oasis, Tampe Impala and now DMA's

This needs more views, more airplay. Great to see some kids rocking in this decade. Love to be the 90s relic at one of their gigs!

Listen to it TODAY (09/01/2021) , knowing that TRUMP and Team have liberated us from the evil of the world....and its just a plain old MIRACLE SONG BAND VIDEO
this is the saddest thing ever made... the convination of the song (which is one of the best of the album) and that video hit me so deeple in my soul (sorry if my english was bad)

This song is so cool , it literally creates a fresh & relax feeling in my mind. I thank Louis Tomlinson for this, he got great taste in music
[Verse 1] Losing expression Facing the autumn Step up the morphine Stand by my side Boiling rejection Cutting the heavens Planning a new one Taking the sky [Pre-Chorus] You were the silence in my brain Unsettled by the weather We built a kingdom in the rain I think we're getting better [Chorus] Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all [Verse 2] Under impressions Growing up crooked Sideways and under Cured by glances Fortune and memories I should be loathing I couldn't find you And I shouldn't care [Pre-Chorus] You were the silence in my brain Unsettled by the weather We built a kingdom in the rain I think we're getting better [Chorus 2] Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all I'll rise to the sun, sitting in the back of the ride I'll rise to the sun, sitting in the back of the ride Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all [Verse 3] Grant me a new one I'm growing slowly Sign of reflection Queued by a godess I'm loaded and ready More than I wanted Step up the morphine

This is wrong everywhere you see the lyrics because most lyrics sites mirror off each other: Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all I'll rise to the sun, sitting in the back of the ride I'll rise to the sun, sitting in the back of the ride Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all He is in fact saying this: Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all Our rising sun, setting in the back of her eye Our rising sun, setting in the back of her eye Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all Sometimes I wonder why we bother at all

Sounds a lot like Listen Up by Oasis, especially during the chorus. Still a good song tho, fair enuf.

Everybody says this & I don't see it. Strangely enough, a lot of tracks from Hills End reminds me a lot of The Byrds & a lot of surf bands. Johnny started out making folk music & I think Matt had played that style too before DMA's which comes across to me a lot more than "Oasis" (Folk music is Australia's biggest genre by far). Some of the harder tracks actually remind me of early Dinosaur Jr. (Another major influence on the band, much more of an influence than Oasis ever were on them). It's also hard for me to find a lot of songs with Oasis that have a twangy guitar riff in the background tbf. Now "For Now" definitely I feel had a lot more of an English influence.

WOW WOW WOW.....listening to and watching this, for the fist time ever ....on Saturday 9th January 2021 and am bawling my eyes out with tears of joy at the "miracles" of synchronicity in just this moment. DMA's = Division, Multiplication, Adding, Subraction. It's all in the Maths The lyrics...."YOU WERE THE SILENCE IN MY BRAIN.....UNSETTLED BY WEATHER......WE BUILT A KINGDOM IN THE RAIN.....I THINK WE'RE GETTING BETTER" Album: Hills End - confirming finally the end of Washington DC aka "The Hill"

Yep, 111k, Sadly not sure if they can pick it up to a mil on this song by end of year even with #39 on the hottest 100.. Possibly if they bring out a new song or two. How goddamn good do these guys have to be to get a small percentage of what the the pop artists get these days? :(
