No I changed it because it was easier to tune a walbro carburetor then the d l e stock one the engine still runs great

Did you have to do any mods to the choke at all? Im about to do the same conversion from the old EMAS carb. The old EMAS didnt have the small plastic clip that hold the choke closed.

Did your old dle carb spit oil everywhere? Is it normal to do that?

I remove the plastic clip and I'm using a servo to choke the engine

Yes it's a v-2 engine, I bought the carb from DA it's the one used on there 100cc . I now have this engine ina Pilot Sbach 342 on cans.
