DK arrives in the Philippines after being OFW in Qatar for almost three years.
Our sibling DK came home to the Philippines after working overseas in Qatar for three years.
Our sister Emie was in Manila at the time when DK arrived so they got to greet and see each other at Ninoy International Airport, spending some time bonding together before both had to catch separate flights to Cagayan De Oro.
Emie then waited inside the terminal at Laguindingan Airport in CDO for DK to arrive and they came out together where Jason was the first one to see them.
Even though Jason has been part of the family for a long time now, this was the first time he had the chance to meet DK in person so it was a special moment for both of them.
We are very thankful that our family is all home and safe together here in the Philippines.

Jason is from the USA and Raisa is a Filipina.
We were in an LDR, that means Long Distance Relationship, when the Covid pandemic closed the borders. But now that foreigners are allowed to travel to the Philippines we finally closed the distance. From the USA to the Philippines was approximately 8125 miles (or 13080 km) and over 24 hours on an airplane. After what felt like forever we are just happy to be together and in love. We are enjoying a simple life and taking videos to share with you.
We want to share our daily routines, our accomplishments, our struggles, our failures,and our successes. Celebrate with us, cry with us, live, laugh, and love with us. Come experience what our life is like living together. It’s more fun in the Philippines. Mabuhay.

Yep. That is something that is a bit different than I’m used to in the USA, the Filipino have no issue working abroad for 2+ years away from friends and family to help support everyone back home. In the USA, we get edgy if we have to work overtime and don’t have our weekends off. I truly respect all OFW’s but I’m so happy DK is home safe with us again.
