This Take Away Show is just like a postcard: Barcelona in August, palm trees under the shining sun, a rowboat, the lapping water... When you watch Djuna Lund sing 'Barceloneta' accompanied by Paul Benham on guitar, you can feel the sun's rays on your cheek and fresh water around you. This ballad is the closing song of 'Somni', Djuna's upcoming EP produced by Paul. It was inspired by the mediterranean sea and the waters of her hometown. For a song about the feeling of submerging and the peace and infinity of the body when it comes into contact with the water we couldn’t find a more appropriate spot. After watching it, you might feel a little nostalgic or eager to get back to the slow pace of a summer day spent with friends. In the meantime, enjoy it by proxy! And to clear any doubt : the birds flying all over the place are not paid actors even though they seem like it!
