Great video - Thanks! I have a question. I set the MOD3 as Custom (as you did) - to give it a try. For everyone having the abrupt pan issue on the RSC2, a little trick im starting to use to alleviate abrupt pan is setting the the front dial of the gimbal to your pan as well. I do a lot of property videos so its highly necessary for me to have the smoothes pan possible and when walking from room to room the RSC2 fails miserably in the smooth turns, the original SC performs better. When in PF mode, i will shoot my walkthroughs normally but to get rid of that first initial “abrupt turn” i use the front dial to start my turn and allow the gimbal/handgrip movement to follow through. I tried my deadband settings, smoothness, speed, nothing works until i tried this. It still isnt the ultimate greatest, but its definitely a temporary fix until they update the gimbal which needs to be done asap.

I want to give this video way more than just one like! Thank you, Peter! I've been through two Weebill S gimbals but have given up on those due to them both drifting off level, both in pitch and roll, as I move through houses doing my video walkthroughs and so bought the RSC2 but found it terrible in terms of smooth panning as I twist and turn through my complex property walkthrough - the weebill S was fantastic in that regard (but you can't have tilting over houses for your listing videos!). But now, after watching your video here I think I've got what looks like it will be much smoother gimbal behaviour with the RSC2 - for what I do, I like a gradual response to my movements so that when I speed up the footage in post is still looks nice and smooth. I think changing the motor strength is what did it. DJI's documentation is pretty poor and I couldn't work out what were the "smoothness" parameters till now. I can now look forward to having vertical verticals AND smooth pans!

Yes mate. I have shoot many real estate videos with the weebill s as well. It is good but the dji RSC2 is in my oppinion more stable, and when you adjust the settings you will get the smoothness you are looking for.

I am not sure if 2 is good setting for deadband. It is super sensitive at this low number. Any movement of you hand the gimbal will react either pan or tilt. I think most people want the opposite, less sensitive, therefore larger number. I personally set at 8. I find it is pretty good. But of course if you like follow fast action, you want set a lower number. But I think for most case, people want less sensitive.

I would have a few questions for you if you would be kind enough to answer me 'I have adjusted all these settings, namely when I move towards an object and make a step of 5 m let's say the gimbal does not go smoothly, notice that stabilization when walking does not work well, and at the same time I balanced everything super, what do you suggest for that option? And another question with option 3, the joystick is very fast for you, why did you leave it to be so fast, ie for what purpose? And I realized that you use option 3 when you raise the gimbal up high and lower it very low to stay in the direction, right? and 1 more question with raven eye when I check an object or a person it works well for a few seconds, so when I move away then it returns the camera to the center but somehow quickly and it doesn't really bother me in the shot, how to adjust the best settings? I wrote to the company and they gave me the parameters with which lens to adjust the tracking speed. In which situations do you use preset m1 and preset m2 for M3, it is clear to me, it's just that the joystick moves quickly, ie that you left it to be sensitive? Thanks in advance. I consider you a great expert, so that's why I asked you. Thanks

I didn’t realize how extremely sensitive the joystick is. I tried using it yesterday and had to do 20 takes of certain b roll I was doing. It’s hard to get it just right while trying to walk backwards. If you want to go down right it should be easy to do. For me I have to barely touch it otherwise it’ll continue moving in the same direction. Any recommendations on how it could be fixed?

@@hansbagel7563 I have not had a lot of time to test but so far the gimbal seems smooth. One thing i did is go into the M1,M2 and M3 settings and manually set the moves to match my Moza which i like because it is so much more familiar. I am still using my MOZA until i can fully test the RSC2. Hopefully this week i can create some sample footage. I think i understand what you are saying by robotic, i think the design and shape of the gimbal arms makes it feel a bit awkward. I think this is a byproduct of positioning the the arms so they do not block the view of the screen. IMO

On mine not even the "PUSH MODE" works, no matter what I do it doesn't work. I was able to actually keep it lock ( sort off) by disable "ACTIVE TRACK" which for me is a bit odd.
