That’s my guess too. Pretty sure it’s not not an SD card

New Sub here. Excellent take on the new specs for the pocket 3. I have used the pocket 2 for the last two years so suffice it to say, I can't wait to get this new pocket 3. Keep up the good work 👍 P.S. The price is a bit steep, going for $519 USD but maybe it's worth it.

The focal length will almost certainly be 20mm, as you can infer from the wide-angle lens, which is labeled 0.75x 15mm. The small part will probably not be a battery either, unfortunately, but just a tripod adapter that is part of the camera's basic-set. The longer part will be the do-it-all handle with additional battery, which will only be included in the creator-combo, just like the microphone, the wide-angle lens and the carrying case. I'm afraid that for marketing reasons, as with the Pocket 1 and 2, there will be no WiFi and Bluetooth built directly into the camera, so you'll need the creator-combo in any case - so dji can offer the camera at a lower price in its basic-set.

Thanks for the video. Putting it in your pocket will be tricky as it is significantly larger and heavier than the Pocket 2 - maybe you haven't seen the leaked full specs. But I guess purchasers will have deep pockets, given the premium price... The "stereo recording" uses only 3 mics compared to the four on the Pocket 2, so that will mean that you won't be able to talk to it on-mic from any direction, like you can with the Pocket 2. Like someone else already commented, the big "handle" is the add-on battery, the small handle is the tripod adapter. The radio mic is just an update of the one that came with the Pocket 2, it's not really something new. The new mic looks a bit large and conspicuous.

*The main reason for the device having rounded edges is for ergonomics. This device will be predominantly held in the hand, thus 90 degree corners would render the device uncomfortable to hold. I really like DJI products, but many of the extra functionality of these costly accessories could have been built into the device itself.*

I just need to know one thing....does it have a 3.5mm jack? or timecode sync built in?

You said at the end you can sit it somewhere and control with your phone? Like turning the gimbal etc? That would be good

Yes the Dji Mimo app. Most of the time I use the app to control the pocket 2 and test my footage before recording. Never use the screen for anything serious on the pocket 2

Does anyone know it its gonna have gyro data??? Cause if it does then stabilization is gonna be great using gyroflow etc

@@simoz78 would really suck if it doesn’t. But i have a solution. If it doesn’t you just have to shoot at a high shutter speed and then use the free sony catalyst browser stabilizer software
