Got it day one. Think it’s kinda neat. Not even mad about the image I can get out of it. That said, I’m afraid I’m going to break it. Took it on two fishing trips and barely used it before I put it away to keep it safe and switched to the gopro. Have made a few tabletop videos with it and like that it’s small and usable for that. Have also used it as an emergency wide angle for news gathering/doc situations. If they would put this lens and sensor in a durable, but not waterproof (overheating) box body with the screen on top or on the side in a flip out camcorder style, I would buy that as a POV/C camera. Not going to sell it, but it isn’t the camera I was hoping it would be because it feels just so darn fragile. Just another hammer in the tool box. A tack hammer.

I agree. It’s a nice camera, but with a current smartphone and action camera, it doesn’t seem essential as it’s made out to be. It’s cool and fun, nice to not have to use my phone when I don’t want to take my big camera, but it’s just another tool like you said. Won’t replace any real cameras.

@@tommilano5431yep. I hope we see a 1” sensor GoPro some day, but I still don’t want it to be waterproof. The overheating issue is just annoying. Like why they can’t get wise and make two cameras, one waterproof and one that can breath and run longer, is beyond me. What I need is a camcorder, that can run all day, that doesn’t have a 20x zoom lens making it bigger than it needs to be. At least a 1” sensor and AF. Optical image stabilization would be cool, but if not that is fine. I’ll take five of them. But, nope, it’s action cameras or 9 year old camcorders, or you have to get a “cinema camera” that costs $2000 and up, and comes with its own quirks. That’s all there is to choose from.

I have the same thinking as u that this pocket3 that most of the video are paid ..as you said you prefer 20mm and ive to agree too because currently im using 15mm apsc and is equivalent to 22.5 on a full frame
