➡️ The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has a mode made specifically for product review videos, and they call it Product Showcase Mode. With this setting selected, your Osmo Pocket 3 will prioritize close focusing, and it also gives you a wider area to hold your product while it still locking in focus. My favourite part is that with this mode selected, the camera locks tight on the product even if your face is visible to the camera, something my iPhone 15 Pro Max struggles with. In this video I show you how to enable the mode, explain what it does, and show you examples of how this mode works compared to the more common Continuous focus mode.

➡️ Overall I'm really impressed with the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3. The stabilization of the gimbal is remarkable (though you do have to understand the tool to get the best results), the audio is remarkably clean for being the built in mic in a loud downtown on a very windy day, and the image is overall very pleasing to the eye. It could use some improvement in the dynamic range department, though it is substantially improved in the D-Log profile, but the 1" sensor gives some nice bokeh and the close focus abilities are admirable.
➡️ As my goal is to test the device and compare it to other cameras I use, I applied a bit of saturation, colour correction, and stabilization to get everything looking as good as I could - like I would with any other footage I shoot. All of this was shot in the D-Log M colour profile, with all audio coming from the onboard 3 mic array.
