My country is very beautiful. No wonder my European ancesters have been settling there for years.

Stayed at the Iberostar Varadero a couple of weeks ago. I`ve been lucky enough to travel a fair bit and never like to go to the same place again but I think Varadero is going to be an exception the that rule. Beautiful in every way and that includes the people. Great footage that does the place justice with a fitting soundtrack too!

Beautiful beach on a once beautiful island. I was born there, never was able to see it and probably never will, at least not until Cuba is free. May God have mercy on the Cuban people.

It's just my opinion, for me to visit there is nothing in Varadero only. Just markets, the Beattles bar and the other, beachs, the famous house and the "bank". Say me what i forgot ?

Only boring people would not find anything to do anywhere. Another piece of good advice, learn how to spell or use spell check. You obviously never pick up a book to read, those who do know how to spell. But heck, car mags and Playboy are reading material too.

I stayed at the Blau a few years ago. I liked but found it too noisy at night. I now stay at Be Live Turquesa, quaint, very quiet for older ppl. I do walk along the beach to the Blau. If you're young, the Blau is a better place.

Cuba is safer for travelers. Never had a problem in Cuba but I did have an encounter with a pick pocket in the DR, Mexico and T&T

Varadero is super nice but Cayo Largo Del Sur, Cayo Guillermo are far better beaches ( specially Playa Sirena, playa Paraiso in Cayo Largo ). kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZ5pkqyqmrbgn5c.html

The beach of playa pilar in cayó Guillermo is beatifull may be better that varadero.

How did you like Cayo Coco? I went in 2019 and it was fantastic, going to Varadero in August hence why I'm watching this.

Hi there, what an enjoyable and well filmed video. We stayed in Cuba at Christmas 2017 and it brought back good memories of our trip? We too have made gimbal walk through's of cuba too on our channel (no ad's just done to share), so it's good to find someone else doing something similar. Look forward to seeing more of your video's thank you again.

Very interesting video. Depending on what time of day it seems you have the whole beach to yourself. Thanks for sharing. I cant imaging how the authorities could reprimand anyone for making similar videos. This video actually makes me wish to visit Cuba. Its almost as beautiful as Jamaica!

Awesome video !!! You must have balls of steel. I'm leaving for Cuba next week. I have taken many risks with my drone but I just watched a video of a Canadian that was jailed for 2 weeks after getting his Phantom past customs. He was not so discreet. Caught filming in downtown Havana.

I think they Candian didn't have a clue that it was illegal. He had a very large drone too and was flying it in very public places!

Beautiful video, though I thought the drone would fly all the way to the end of the strip, where the huge bay at the top left narrows to become a tight canal. It hooks around the last hotel on the strip and empties into the ocean, technically making Varadero an island connected to the mainland by bridges. I have stayed twice at that last hotel on the strip - Gran Caribe Puntarena - and always choose the canal view because it feels so peaceful, watching the water drift by with the waving palm trees.

have looked at this many times, any chance of continuing farther down the beach ? the ending is great, stayed at the naviti (labranda) beachclub back in 2016 … great time there

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I planned to take my drone to Varadero back in 2011 but someone told me they may cease my drone and will loose it for ever. So changed my mind. Had you any problem with your DJI Phantom entering Cuba? Were you using long range FPV gear? BTW, I see many large sardine schools in your video specially @ 9:48.

Hi! Yes, have a problems with drone in Cuba. Do not repeat it. I`m not using FPV.

Can you tell us what your encounter was like entering the country with the Phantom? Customs, etc.

Did you have any issues flying the drone in Cuba? I'm thinking of taking my Mavic Mini on my trip

This person clearly got away with it, but just importing a drone into Cuba can result in confiscation at Customs. Unauthorized flying can result in jail time.

Hello, what a nice Video. Sorry for my bad englich. This year i was also in Varandero on vacation. Could i find apiece of the over fligt (from the 3rd Minute, Hotel Hicacos Varandero) get?. What cpl did you use? Did you shoot in D-log mode and then cc graded?

15$ cpl from aliexpress. Its not good quality, but Ok for me. ) D-log? No. Without any post-processing.

take your drone on hold luggage!! don't pass it though normal security and u avoid them to ask u what u bring on your cabin bag!
