About Modes - DJI Mini 4 Pro
The "spotlight mode" on the DJI Mini 4 Pro refers to a feature where the drone camera locks onto a subject and keeps it in the frame while the drone maneuvers around it. This is particularly useful for capturing dynamic shots where the subject is moving or when you want to focus on a specific object or person.
Here's how to use Spotlight Mode on your DJI Mini 4 Pro:
1. **Power on and Connect**:
- Power on the drone and the remote controller.
- Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the controller and launch the DJI Fly app.
2. **Select Intelligent Flight Modes**:
- After taking off, tap the Intelligent Flight Modes icon on the left side of the screen within the DJI Fly app.
3. **Activate Spotlight Mode**:
- Select “Spotlight” from the list of available flight modes.
4. **Select Your Subject**:
- You can either tap on the subject on your screen or draw a box around it to select it.
- The drone will lock onto the subject and keep it in the frame.
5. **Control the Drone**:
- While the drone is in Spotlight Mode, you can manually control its flight direction and altitude using the control sticks. The camera will continue to track and keep the subject in the frame automatically.
6. **Adjust Settings**:
- You can adjust various camera settings to ensure the best shot, such as exposure, resolution, and frame rate.
7. **End Spotlight Mode**:
- To exit Spotlight Mode, simply tap the mode icon again and select another flight mode or manually fly the drone as usual.
Spotlight Mode is a great tool for both beginners and experienced pilots to capture professional-looking footage with ease.
