@@TheNetnamChannel I installed one onto my Mavic 2 Pro - it now fits onto both my standard controller & my Smart Controller, range has easily doubled in urban environment, you won't be dissapointed, just be careful when modifying your controller as they are quite delicate with regard to the inner antenna connections inside

Hi, does this antenna automatically switches between 2.4 and 5.2 when signal is low?

No it does not. It's recommended to put it on 5.8GHz from the start. Switching makes the boosting worse than with the standard antennas.

@@TheNetnamChannel clarification, so when having the duo i have to either chose the frequency to 2.4 and 5.8 specifically? Its not same as the ordinary remote of the drone where in they chose which band is suitable and automatically shifts to that band?

@@dmitrivalencia This is correct. You need to choose your signal. It will not be switching. You can have your controller let do the switching automatically between frequences but the overlall performance will be poorly then. I have been troubleshooting this myself as well.

Hello Jeff, mine did not work at first as well. But I found out that before flight, switching to 5.8GHz signal made the difference. Normally it is setup to switch in between 2.4 and 5.8, this is very bad for the actual range extending.

@@TheNetnamChannel Quick follow up... is 2.4GHz going to give the best range or 5.8 like you suggested...? I don't have any interference concerns out here.

@@designsinorbit 2.4GHz should give you the most range but I don't have experience with 2.4GHz. I live on a farm and don't have any interference issues as well. But its just that with 5.8GHz I never had a range issue.
