Thanks! Great info here! Would you recommend shooting hyperlapse in auto? Or shooting in auto with a locked exposure? Or is best practice to do everything manual?(white balance, exposure and ISO? ). As it takes place over several minutes any insight would be most appreciated!

Hi Nathan, good question! I feel like the video should have answered that question for sure. Sorry about that. Ideally you introduce as little change as possible to your sequence of photos. That mean the least amount of change in movement as well as image exposure, aperture, focus, white balance or iso. So, yes ideally you control everything. I just fired up my MA2 to check and you have to options: 1) Stay in auto mode in the bottom left, but lock in the exposure as you suggested. You can use the EV + - to adjust it before you get going. 2) switch over to manual mode. Which only gives you access to ISO and shutter. Might be worth doing a few test photos before kicking off the timelapse, just so you can be sure you have the right shutter speed and iso. Though ISO is easy. simply don't ever go past 100. Those entry level drones don't have a very good sensor and everything past 200 starts to get noisy. So ideally just stay at 100. Hope that helps! Thanks for checking out my channel!

Bit what if I want just record ecaplme myslef when drone flies just one direction? Is it possible? Not hyperlapse, just recording?

You can only do a hyperlapse with course Lock. No video. But you can download other apps like Litchi that can do a course Lock and video recording. Cheers, Dan
