Great tips and tricks my friend. I already started to use some of this in my videos and it really changes a lot. Now my footage is crisp and clear. Thank you for sharing with us. Cheers and have a perfect weekend.
Cracking scenery there. Love the first waterfall shot! The 'layers' thing you're explaining.... parallax.
OH MY GOSH thank you for these tips! Swear I've watched every possible video on the Mavic Air, FINALLY here is one I can really learn something from. I can't wait for the sun to come up now!!!!
Excellent tips , been following you for a while and the fresh ideas and the way you put it across makes it easier to get to grips with. Keep em coming.
Thanks man, awesome stuff ... I’ve just bought a Mavic Air and can not wait to get it up in the air and see what I can do. Beautiful work mate, well done 👍 and thanks for taking the time to help others achieve great work. You’re a star ⭐️ 👍👍🇦🇺
Maaan I missed you really enjoyed your videos. Hope to see you more often! really good and positive feel on your vids.!
Thanks Francis. Keep posting good work, and have a good time with your travel guys.
Thanks for the reply , keep up the good work , I only been flying for two years, man you have so much land to pick from.

Thank you so much man!
Thanks for this both enjoyable and valuable video, just the right time before I stumble into the common newbie errors. Going to lower the gimbal speed first and stop relying on auto. Will probably get me a set of filters, too. Greetings from a Mavic Air newbie.
Thanks for this. I just upgraded from the Spark. So excited to get to work!
these are all quality tips!!! i appreciate it. thank you! didn't know about the gimbal speed!!!
Cool Francis, thanks so much for the tips. Fab film footage.
I recognise my country, thanks for sharing your tips Francis. Love the sideways shots. Very cool
Great Tips man! You should do more videos like this with tips. And also some with tutorials on how to apply different settings 👌🏻
When your on the EXP screen actually move the joystick and you will see how making the changes impacts the joystick.. the dot will move and follow the line and you will see / feel how much movement you have to do in order for dot to start moving.. super handy to see it while you test the movements.. also helps you see which of the 3 is adjusting what for sure..
Hi bro, Thank you so much for you tips and your LUT. Bro i need you suggestion on getting details from skyp using Dlog. really it is very hard to get the blue color and clouds from it.
Thank you for your tips! But I'm wondering why haven't mention the exp and sensitivity settings for better controls, or even ND Filters....
Great video as usual, thanks for uploading! What was the first music track you used?
Proper job, mate...lol. I am from the US and have been following you for a while. Great video, love it, and can't wait to take the plunge and buy a drone. I am storing all this up for my retirement, all your information and tips. Thank you for all you do!
As usual, great footage! I wish i had more time to fly so that can could practice with my Spark haha.
Thanks for the great 10 tips. I totally agree with many of those and found some new idea. I really impress and respect your final bonus tip at the end. I'll subscribe your activities. Please keep it up.
Nice vid bro! Loved the vibe. Loved the tips. Loved the footage.
Very, very nice tips. Excellent! Thank you!
I actually liked tip #10. Never thought of it but its a great tip. Cant imagine how many great shots I can get using this as a handheld gimbal
Brilliant Francis. Mavic Air Arriving Monday. Can't wait to get started. Really appreciate your ideas. Cheers M8t :-)
Love your videos, they have really helped me, so thank you 🙏🏻 I have a Question regarding video size on Mavic Air. At the moment I am still learning so have stuck to 1080 HD @30 FPS. I as about to start using 4K but you say you shoot 1080 HD @120 FPS. Is this your standard setting or do you vary? The quality of your videos always look so good 😊
10 tips for cinematic video, but none of those tips included probably the most important factor : the frame rate to shutter speed ratio (180° rule, shutter speed 2x more than frame rate) and the use of ND Filters to achieve the right shutter speed in bright conditions.

Very useful tips! Great video
Hi Francis, i'm from Bali. Next week i would like to buy between mavic pro/spark/mavic air, which one are better for cinematic footage? Also can you share your setting for your mavic air. Terima Kasih/Thanks.
Hi Francis, Is there any benefit of using a polarized filter all the time on an DJI Marvic Air... Thanks rog
Great vid bro. Awesome NZ footage too
Soooo cool! Thanks!!
Liked so much your video. About slo-mo... So you think 1080 120 fps has a good quality in this Mavic Air? Even editing and playing the final video in 1080 differences in image quality with 4K or 2.8K are obvious... It seems to me 1080 120 is not a really FULL HD. I may be wrong. Thank you! Anyway, you just work in 4K and you change to 1080 just in case you are looking for slo-mo? Or you work always in 1080 120?
Hi Francis, 0.02 and 4:24 shows a wobbly horizon, not flat. I have an issue with my air where the horizon dips in the middle.have you noticed this ??
thank you for a great tips francis...
Hey hi Francis, is the Mavic Air still worth the buy today or the next 2-3 months? I am looking around and wish to buy this in December-February.... I was going to go Pro1 or Pro2 but ...deciding Air
Sick video ! thanks for the tips!

Nice vídeo bro you’re awesome 👏🏻
Some great ideas, keep up the great work... :)
Bru your tips are tops, shooot for all the help.
Anyone have any knowledge of what kind of altitude this unit will function at? I was thinking of taking one on a trek through Nepal where I'll get up to 5200 meter along the way. I know of one guy who posted clips from that particular pass with an older DJI Phantom.
Tip number ten... epic!!! Thanks!!!
I was surprised that you did not recommend ND/PLC filters. You do not use them?
Hi Francis, how come my mavic air has only normal option and no D cinelike? do i need to upgrade any firmware? Thanks
Tip 10 is my Fav
Thank you for the great tips
Thank you for this
Great tutorial 👍👍.
Hi Mr.Darracott, I love all of your videos! I am a proud owner of a Spark and a Phantom four. I use Final Cut Pro Ten to edit my videos. I am trying to grow my KZread channel. How does your Spark footage look so crisp and sharp? I like how you are such a drone enthusiast like me!
What style settings did you use?
Very nice tips bro
Those shots, were they from Raglan/Bridal veil falls NZ??? I swear I recognized them!
I’ll be getting my first drone soon. (Mavic Air) I’ve watched a lot of KZread doing my research and haven’t seen anyone mention if you need to do anything to your phone to stop phones text etc while you’re flying and how this would effect the drone if you did get a call?

They'll come through unless you're in airplane mode. Still, you can simply decline the call.
1:08 that is my town, Brisbane, with Suncorp Stadium on the right.
Would Mavic Air connect with phone Blackview BV6000?
What is flat profile with Mavic air, Dcinelike 0 0 0 ? or 0 -2 -2 ?
Great video!!
i loved watching this movie. keep going 😀
Does your phone matter to get smooth footage or nah? Cause I use a 2015 phone with DJI mavic air lol
Great Tips......... Thanx :)
