Note on the batteries - they do use different firmware and need to be updated when switching from enterprise to non enterprise Mavic 3 bodies. Small hassle, but still swappable

Thanks for the info, I watched to find out about Mavic 3 Pro which wasn't discussed. Maybe it's new since you put the video out a year+ ago. Good summary anyway.

Thank you so much for putting this together. It really has helped me narrow down what Drone(s) I will begin building a fleet from. I really liked the M3T (which is not listed in this Video) and the M3M But I was unsure of a couple of things. This video helped clarify a few issues I needed information on. With that being said I just need a good price point for both with the Battery Pack and RTK w/Base.

Another great video. I need the multispectral to do crop analysis but I also want to cover search and rescue. Will the multispectral perform the way the thermal camera will? If not, can I put the thermal camera on the multispec mavic? Thanks again.

Unfortunately thermal and Multispectral are completely different and the payloads are not interchangeable. Sorry to disappoint.

Are there any other applications to MSI besides AgTech, Im familiar with MSI satteliten for IMINT use cases but trying to not let the cool factor overcome me. Mostly use drones for mobile data relays and integration with ATAK. The Thermal seems much obvious especially with all the night time stuff I did but not too sure

Can you do a zoom test with mavic 3 Pro vs m3t

The Mavic 3 standard will give you great video and good maps. If you want REALLY accurate maps, you’d need to jump to the Mavic 3 Enterprise. Ideal for mapping. You’re looking at $4k for the drone and $4k for an RTK base station. So the price takes a big jump.

How are you mapping with the classic?

For DJIMAVIC 3 ENTERPRISE THERMAL...DO WE NEED BASE STATION FOR RTK.module???? Or optional???

You do not need the base station if you subscribe to an over the air NTRIP RTK network. If you don’t have that, you will need the RTK base station to get centimeter level accuracy.

which would you recommend for Roof inspections? Lots of steep roofs, my mini mavic isn’t cutting it anymore.

If you go with the Mavic 3 Thermal it gives you the benefit of seeing hot and cold spots on the roof and you can see where heat is escaping.

The regular Mavic 3 should do the job then. Not the new Mavic 3 Pro, which might be overkill for what you’re doing.

Does the thermal enterprise version do good at mapping?

It is built for mapping. If you combine the RTK, big sensor and the mechanical shutter, you’re going to get great maps.

Will DJI Terra full support the 3E. As far as i see it’s still only phantom 4. Confusing…

We haven’t used it with the 3E yet, but we have used Terra with the 3T, so it should be supported.

The price posted is the approximate price with DJI Care. There is another version without insurance that I would advise against.
