I bought the original Mavic 3 after your first video....now looking for this version.

Quite funky knowing Kai and Loc were down near Box Hill in Surrey near me! It's been a long time since I saw the stepping stones submerged in river water like that. Normally they're above the water's surface.

I've never had (or even seen for myself) a drone, so this is exactly the video I needed. I can't say as I really have a use case except admittedly it would keep me from having to pay for stock footage drone shots. I think I have to start with something cheaper that won't make me cry if I crash it or lose it in the ocean here.

Next drone should have a single 4/3 sensor with a 3 lens setup like this, but the lenses just rotate over the sensor.

166 mm zoom lens for 4/3 will be too heavy

According to the "old" Top Gear, sport mode only makes the ride rubbish and doesn't really makes the car go faster anyway!😆

I took delivery of the new DJI Mavic 3 Pro with DJI RC today. Upgraded all firmware as instructed via the setup. I noticed during setup inside my office that the connection kept dropping and the red light on the DJI RC appearing. I suspected that this was possiby because i was indoors - i completed setup and took the drone outside. The maiden flight was a nightmare - lost connection 3 times while flying no further than 1km. Please can anytime advise or make suggestions to what i should do next? Could this be a faulty unit or are there alternative options i could try to improve connection stability? Kind Regards Jon

You referred to the substantial number of folks who insisted on calling the original Mavic 3 the "Mavic 3 Pro" - I never understood that. I pre-ordered it, and it was anything but "Pro" upon release. I had every DJI aircraft since the Mavic Air 2, waited for the Mavic 3 rather than by a 2 Pro that was near end of life. But there were days I doubted my choice. Somewhere around v01.00.0800 my faith started to be validated. The Mavic 3 Pro's starting point is with 16 months of refinement -in spite of some serious early mistakes, I'm jumping on the Pro. There will NOT be a Mavic 4 this year, probably not for at least another 18 months. Either way, I don't expect a "Mavic 3 Pro Plus Ultra Max" but I've been wrong before. Can't recall WHEN, but I'm sure I have.

that zoom looks rly bad, watch it in slow the sharpening on one lens is high then when it switches it looks cleaner and nicer idk.

Of course, one big issue with it is that now weighs 960 g or around that which means it is no longer a C1 class Drone well we don’t have the C class two yet but a C2 which means you have to have the A2 CofC to fly it Because it is outside the A1 class whereas the Mavic three was less than 900 g, giving it to see one label

Why not a zoom lens? Why does everyone say D G I ? Why, oh why?

U gain weight! Look great!!

Those zoom lens are not integrated in to support the main camera so you get that jump transition. Not much good for videography. Good for the Ukrainians using it in their war against the Russians, so it does have an application. I have the Mavic 3 Classic & although it is integrated into the camera, @ 3X zoom it is not sharp like the 2X optic zoom of the Mavic 2 Zoom; too much degradation. A pity for the price with the Mavic 3 Classic it should have been engineered such that it was a 3X optic zoom.

Too bad they are starting to ban DJI drones all over the USA.

the fact you don't have the same d-cinelike profile on the cine lens is pretty dumb IMO.

It’s very nice but very expensive. That’s a lot of money to have floating around in the air. Besides I don’t really have a used case for this so I’ll pass.

Nope; this is another complete fail and missed oppertunity from DJI. I would have preferred to see a single M4/3 camera sensor with a true optical zoom lens instead of DJI going down the endless smartphone rabbit hole with multiple camera of different sizes and qualities. The variable aperture optical zoom option on a large sensor would have provided consistent results and D-Log across the entire focal range ensuring a much more polished user experience.

Why you mad bro?

NO NO NO NO NO... DJI. What is this nonsense. 3 different sensors. Only 1 is 10 Bit colour. Other two sensors arent matched to the 1 inch sensor. What we wanted was a zoom on a 1inch sensor so we could have 10 bit throughout the zoom range. This doesnt cut it at all. I wont be buying this. Please give people what they wanted 1 sensor with zoom lens.
