Make sure you watch the full proper review here as this video covers only two things: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWmJm5WSnqXTdZs.html This is a typo in this where I say 8 bit is 1.67 million colours, it is 16.7 million. I also blurred the bitrate for 10 bit as that was for a black image so it wasn’t correct. It’s the same as 8 bit so around 90mbps. Make sure you watch until the very end...I do like my MCU post-credit scenes! Please remember my sense of humour when it comes to that scene! :)

Yeah, I am in the same boat, I think it is really down to the weight if you live in certain countries that have those regulations that may be the deciding factor for me!

It might no longer be a coincidence between you and DJI. Guess I should thank DJI for giving me two Philip Bloom videos for each drone. :) Great work, as always! :)

Thanks ever so much for people like you delving into the technical depths, finding possible culprits and even giving feedback to the manufacturer! And kudos to DJI for actually listening and trying to improve things! Although I usually prefer shorter "to-the-point" videos, I must say I enjoy yours - they so much show you’re loving what you do. Great shots, great attitude.

It'll be interesting when they release the SDK for this model and apps like Litchi can get their hands on it allowing you to adjust the sharpness/contrast/etc. That combined with the now 10-bit capabilities seems like it's going to make this sub-1k drone a serious flying pro-ish camera. Oh a side note, Your reviews from a photographic and cinematic point of view is done extremely well and no skimping on the details of the review itself. It's definitely something for me to aspire to.

Both this and the original review are absolutely brilliant. Thank as ever. Time to finally 'upgrade' from my Mavic Pro that has served me so well. Hope the back is better....

Again a Great review of the DJI mini 3 pro. These 2 videos are quite relaxing to rewatch all over. And i love the way you represented the "tripod" mode. Got some chuckles from that one. Kudos. And thank you for the great videos. You got me convinced on getting the mini 3 pro.

Look what happens when a Master deals with what is really worth the drones: The camera and the quality !! It is extremely interesting that Mr. Bloom, with his prestige and knowledge, "clarifies" these difficult issues. After deciding to deal with drones, I look forward to the presentation of other companies, e.g. Autel, for consistency, as it does with the cameras it presents (Canon, Sony, Nicon, etc). I say this with a lot of love and respect, I can not imagine that there is an exclusive contract with Dji ....❤️👌🇬🇷

You do realize making a statement like this when you're thrilled about something, of course but it will only serve to have Dji feel that they'd best not keep giving too much of a good thing, right. I mean say you're thrilled and happy etc , but please refrain from saying it's exceeding your expectations for a mini or sub 250 gram yada yada. Just a little friendly advice and imo, that which I'm sure most people struggling financially or maybe just frugal would agree... Ya don't need to suggest to a multi billion dollar co. to hold back features and or upgrades bro, they're pretty cheeky on not over giving anything away as it is so let's take what they're willing to provide without hollering out for a hard stop, lol. Happy flying regardless.

What a great review of the M3P! As always explained and demonstrated impeccably Philip. The M3P looks like a little powerhouse. Love your cats too :-)

I love the news update Philip. I think its become the norm to have outdated reviews with DJI, but it gives an opportunity do follow ups like this which add so much viewer value. So, I see it as a good thing. Just as long as you mention before hand that DJI always updates and that there will most likely be a revised review to you docureview with DJI drama show series. I think in future, ask for any special requests like 16K raw updates with your cats in frame next to you. The bro dudes at DJI will succumb with zero resistance. Thank you once again kind dude 😎 Also on a side note, I dont think DLog is necessary for the dynamic range capability of the Mini 3, as long as the D-Cinelike is closer to Dlog than it is rec709. I think its a good sweet spot 👌

you will still get banding with 10 bit if uploaded to youtube as it's 8-bit. Same if you shoot 16 bit raw REDCODE!

@@philipbloom That’s interesting. I never realized the uploading to an 8-bit service would reproduce the banding. So two questions - 1. Why doesn’t KZread support 10 bit if it supports HDR? 2. Is there a better platform to upload 10 bit footage to that won’t downgrade it to 8 bit?

I've been following you for years, mostly silently, and I have NEVER been disappointed by one of your videos.
