The goggles are exactly what I have been needing when looking for lost cows and other livestock in winter. In the past, I had to send the quad out, recover the card and see it on a computer before being able to see enough ground detail to be meaningful and resolve a lost calf. This is going to be a HUGE help with Search and Recovery! Thank you DJI! Definitely a VERY important added capability. Thumbs UP all the way!!!

Checked in with DJI, they are Out of Stock and available only for Pre-Sale, I guess I'll wait and see what the forums have to say about them before jumping in, but I definitely like what I'm seeing here.

Frederick Dunn on a normal DJI drone you can see the image on your smartphone while the drone is flying so this would also work fine for you haha :)

Frederick Dunn I use a tablet with mine but it is still tough to see. Never used a phone, hard to imagine how impossible it is to see anything on that. I will still probably buy the goggles just for ease of viewing.

yep..VR games aand the update to ps4 allows you to watch 3D films without need of glasses..just use the head set..works great and very immersive

How DJI successfully convinces for every new product to be a valuable addition to the existing gear is a mystery to me!

RainForDays I'm going to be "that" guy and suggest most feature DJI have are like Apple's innovative features... Designed by someone else, and late to the party. I genuinely would like to see a list of features DJI has come up with on their own. I suspect it's not a long list, but I'm not anti-DJI in any way.

A few things I'll add after having my Goggles for 2 days: It took a while to find out how to get it into tracking mode so it responded to your head movements. Sure it's in the manual somewhere but this might save you some time. Swipe TWO fingers down on the right hand side touch panel and the menu for this pops up. If you can't get menus to come up make sure the touchpad isn't locked. There's a lock icon upper right. I think it's 2 fingers forward to do this. Use ONE finger only to do menus. 2 fingers is a whole different thing. In head tracking mode turn your head a *_bit_* to the left or right and hold it there to make the drone yaw. Don't spin around. Put your head straight forward to stop the yaw. Oh and if you take the headset off when it's in this mode the drone might start slow spinning. I changed the mode to "Full Screen" to try to stop it but it didn't. I had to manually stop the yaw with the joystick while landing. I cannot get it to read or even see an SD card. I tried 2 Class 10 cards. It won't format or read the card from the Mavic Pro. Anyone who can help would be appreciated. Love the Goggles though.

The new DJI googles seems amazing! I've been using a cheap VR kit for my Phantom 3 with Litchi and it lags. Too many features available than the usual googles. Let's celebrate to this! 😉
